Matt states in the echo he feels this is the best side he has assembled in the last 4 years, i would say longer. But as i said, speedway is not run on paper, it must be transfered to the track.. hyderd
anything can happen in speedway, and often does, who would've thought that swindon were capable of going on that incredible unbeaten run last season. Also as some fans say, titles are not won at the beginning of the season.

Baldyman
A couple of early injuries to the poles or holder will change the poole team into also rans

poolebolton
Don’t start saying we are going to walk the league. We need to finish first because otherwise we could have a bad away meeting in the playoffs if we get there. Just wait and see after first 6 meetings and make a real judgment. Steve Shovlar
The team looks great to be honest but an injury at the wrong time like 2016 could end our chances of the title. Of course injuries are part of the sport so no way can we say the title is ours until the trophy is in our hands. But considering what the points limit is, Matt Ford should be congratulated in pulling out all the stops to put together such a good looking side which is well within the points limit. He has done the club proud. Now it’s up to Middlo and the riders to show it on track. Quite confident they will once they have settled in.
