However, if you said Leon Madsen was better in the Polish Extraleague than Jason Doyle last season you would be correct. Just as Nick Morris was better than Brady Kurtz in the top flight in the UK last year. That is FACT no matter how much Burntfaceman tries to wriggle and squirm. Nobody is saying that Morris wasn't better at scoring points...

Ok I understand, winning more races than someone else, consistently beating someone else, it doesn't mean you are better than them in your opinion. So, what in your opinion made Kurtz a better rider than Morris in the UK last season?

There isn't anything else to consider. Referring to 2018. I'm going with trolling. He actually said he was only posting to wind me and you up (and failed miserably). Only real explanation. I am merely pointing out that you said "Kurtz was the lowest scoring number one in the Premiership barring Rye House", assumed that the discussion was about 2017 averages etc., if so no mention of KL. You could say Leon Madsen is a better rider than Jason Doyle as he has a higher average than Doyle in the Polish Extraleague, and of course its raced over more heats to get the average. Nope i wouldnt say Leon Madsen is better than Jason Doyle But i would say Leon Madsen was better than Jason Doyle in Poland

You even agree Morris was 'better at scoring points' thus surely making him better last season!!! 2018 is all about opinion but to keep saying Brady is better than Morris over here is laughable

ouch
The trouble with Gavan and some others is they don’t realise when you’re pulling their chain. Someone says Morris is better than Kurtz in the UK and then backs it up with proof so as to wrap things up. Then someone, usually the same types argue for devilment even though it’s not a point for debate. Gavan takes it seriously and off we go. During my early years on the forum I got sucked in with this kind of thing as it never dawned on me people would be so odd. It still fascinates me somewhat that people like to behave that way. Like I say to my kids, the sooner you realise some people are dicks and not to engage them, the better your life will be. 3

A nice evening meal out to a good standard restaurant will cost around £2-240 for 2 of us with wine. So 160 a couple seems ok providing the quality is there. I was in Padstow recently with a client and lunch cost £180 at Rick Steins restaurant. I guess some people on here think a Harvester or Beefeater is quality eating out! It may be 'good' food Steve, but those prices are are a rip off with a massive mark up. My brother owns a 3 star restaurant and catering company and he estimates at least 95% of all A la carte dinners cost less than £15 to bring to the table per head. Just asked him ....

Makes folk 'think' they are getting something special and makes them feel more elite. I cannot abide this 'designer' food where it all looks nice and pretty on your plate but there's hardly any of it.. yet costs 10x more than it should.
