Gavan
Chris Holder is more than capable of being a 9-point rider in this league. No chance. Doyle and Lindgren were the only 2 riders to get there this season..............cant see holder getting close
ray c
This season gone chris was not in the same class Doyle and lindgren I think the trend will be downwards next season as well Edited November 1, 2017 by ray c

Arthur54
That's brilliant news Chris getting a wild card, after what he's been through I think he deserves it, just need him to sign for Poole now, the icing on the cake

Gavan
Did you enjoy watching Peterborough lift the trophy Yes it was a good meeting spoilt by a shocking crash for Danny King. Peterborough deserved it on the night with riders like Starke and Lambert stepping up to win crucial races. When your top 2 riders only complete one race between them over 2 legs kind of makes it hard. Difference is at Ipswich we are not sore losers you see. Vast majority stayed behind to applaud the Panthers team. Unlike Poole winning isnt everything and we knew we were unlucky but thats the fun of the sport.........thanks for your concern though That's brilliant news Chris getting a wild card, after what he's been through I think he deserves it, just need him to sign for Poole now, the icing on the cake Brilliant news lol. Only a Poole fan could think that Holder deserves a wild card........the rest of the speedway world knows that money and Monster played a huge part. Have a quick look on the SGP wildcard thread as well.....................nobody thinks he deserves one Oh and what exactly has he been through??? Do you mean crying like a big girls blouse at a slightly iffy track???

Chris had his injury years ago...Darcy affected him but its irrelevent and so is his personal life. Is he good enough and the right choice to be in the Grand Prix next season? No plain and simple He came 10th ...14 points away from 9th. He rode in every Grand Prix....Iversen and Hancock had the same number of points when they got injured as Holder had and the way Chris finished his season he probably would have been 12th. Total farce that he has a wildcard and no he doesnt deserve a break no idea why that comes into it? Surely Hancock and Iversen injured during this season deserve more of a break! Baldyman
So with so few possible number 1 riders out there..how will clubs that may move up going to do?.

If the rest of the promoters were as forward thinking as Matt Ford perhaps speedway in this country wouldn't be in this mess Why doesn't Chris holder deserve a wild card, how many times has he relied on one since he's been in it
SteveLyric2
I see Gav's back and got things a bit twisted again. Chris Holder's appeal to the ACU (assisted by Matt Ford as reported in the SS) was partially successful as the length of ban has been reduced to allow him to start the British season next year and his fine was also halved.

The Doctor...
I know he can't keep blaming those things, but its affected him more than people think I'm no fan of him whatsoever so i'll ignore the fact it's Holder, but even on health/wellbeing grounds, if someone is struggling with so many issues which people keep to continue to harp on about to justify poor form etc, wouldn't the best remedy be to take a break and get help or try and address the issues that are causing the problems ? I personally haven't seen much where he says he's still struggling with these issues but then again, he's blocked me on twitter so i dont see anything... has he said about struggling recently ? or is it just supporters using the situation as a bit of crutch to defend him. Just curious.
