poolebolton
I find it quite amusing people getting excited for next year when this season hasn't finish yet Every sport does it because transfers are very important to any sport. Most papers have football gossip for 365 days a year. Never not going to get excited about next year. Matt also wants to attract big sponsors for 70th year and all that will go on!
Bald Bloke
What they mean is that they have a good rider on a low average - so the start of a strong team potentially. Woryna..Good signing at that average.

DC2
Done deal with a 2nd rider so I understand - another 4-5 pointer so shouldn't get too many agitated for the time being. :-) With all these four pointers and Matt re-signing a couple from this season's dross is next year's limit 25 points? STEVEHOLS54
Done deal with a 2nd rider so I understand - another 4-5 pointer so shouldn't get too many agitated for the time being. :-) Initial thought is Kyle Newman with his new 4.22 GSA average. If it is then he only has 2 meetings left at home to Wolves and away at Rye H. In which case he wont bust a gut with next season and going into the team on a low av at reserve to consider ?? If its not is this another hidden gem that Matt has unearthed that is below anyone else's radar ;-) Come on Skidder leak a few more clue's ;-)
Steve Shovlar
What about Timo? Absolute bargain on his current average.
Mattfordfan
What about Timo? Absolute bargain on his current average. Nope. When Timo moves into the 1-5 he will end up struggling just like Klindt and Starke.

Surprisingly, I was told that MF was overheard to state he would be hoping for a lower points limit to start next season??!! Nope. When Timo moves into the 1-5 he will end up struggling just like Klindt and Starke. He didn't struggle in the 1-5 last week against Leicester. 13 from 5 rides, riding at 3. BTW, Not TL nor KN!! A ORLOV
I always thought matt pushed for a higher points limit each year must have got that wrong ? He wants a lower points limit only to stop most of the other clubs resigning their successful 2018 teams.
poolebolton
Is there any truth in this overheard news that Matt wants a Lower point limit. Just find that amazing. In the 70th year he will want a power packed team!

Skidder could you answer the following questions please. Does this rider currently ride in Britain? Has this rider ridden in Britain in the past? Is the rider a Poole asset? Is the rider a HL, 2nd string or reserve? Is the rider British? Edited August 29, 2017 by Poole Pirates Fanatic

In the 70th year he will want a power packed team! And he has zero chance of a power packed team. This season has proved no one will come. The best you can hope is the best bargain budget you can buy.

poole keith
probably lower points limit to reduce costs and most promoters would support the move,i would guess poole crowds down around 20% this yr so need to control the outgoings
