Haza
Joke club. Award the points to Rye. Speedway in the UK dying on its arse. it was against you we had the wind off I seem to recall so yes Rye should get all 4 points .

Rayleigh
Complete farce AGAIN Â I urge Mr Jensen to refuse to re-arrange the meeting and if the BSPA quite rightly award us 4 points then fine, if not, well at least we will stop KL the opportunity of getting 3 points and then hope Swindon get the fourth play off place.
Daniel Smith
Well you may all get what you wish for in 2018  What's that that we wish for? It certainly not for the club to close but for it to gets it's house in order. If it was to close that'll be a few £100's saved a year

If it was to close that'll be a few £100's saved a year not just the £100s saved I'm sick and tired of the hassle that is speedway in this country. Your right all we wish for is the club to get its house in order . Couldn't care less about the play offs this situation is far more important than play offs it's about its survival . Shadders
Enjoyed the Kings Lynn rivalry with Rye in the mid to late 2000's. This situation is beyond farcical. Gotta feel for the loyal fans of both clubs who've taken time off and made arrangements to attend. I'd have been one of those had we not moved north. Thank the lord I'm well out of it now. I attended the Bandits v Glasgow meeting on Saturday with the farcical heat 15 nonsense. SPEEDY69
There was a big big storm here that lasted about an hour.Started at 5am till about 6am.Very heavy rainfall. But was sunny and the roads were dry by 9am. Not surprised at the rain off though.I doubt the track would drain fast enough. And Buster wouldn't want to risk a dodgy track again, plus half a team. To re lay the track might of been an option imho. Â The lynn track drains very quickly and even if they'd laid the shale it only takes 2 hours to redo. Fine and sunny all day today so the postponement is absolutely nothing to do with the weather. See here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2645456 Â Well you may all get what you wish for in 2018 Â Presumably you mean well organised speedway in the UK where integrity is high and the spectators are put first? TheRealFiend
Buster is scared to face the paying public and that is the only reason why this meeting is off. Â KL are finished as a top flight club. Â NKI doesn't do Britain because of the Polish rule. Â C. Holder, Batchelor and R. Lambert have had enough at KL Â Rory Schlein won't ride for Lynn ever again. Â Cant see how Lynn would build a top flight team next season.
waytogo28
Speedy69 wrote " Presumably you mean well organised speedway in the UK where integrity is high and the spectators are put first?"  That outcome Is getting to be an unrealistic dream and the reality a nightmare. It certainly is at KLS. The best we can hope for is that a new promoter takes over the rights ( not a shadow one ) and the Stars run at Championship level in 2018 - if they run at all. Many fans now have zero belief in Busters efforts regardless of how long he claims to put in on the track. The results of those hours in terms of rider and fans satisfaction is pretty low and it is unlikely to be easily restored.
Shadders
I remember when Kings Lynn were the envy of British speedway. Decent stadium, professionally run and with a cracking side. What the hell happened?

Star Fever
Can't understand why people are moaning about an early call-off when the track would be drenched after last night's rain with more forecast? Buster could probably make it rideable but who wants to see that? The fans want to see racing surely and if he's expecting a good crowd after last week he knows thats unlikely to happen in such circumstances so good call a.f.a.i.c

Have been there umpteen times, even when the whole track was under water. It drains quickly and the track can be re-laid in 2 hours - oh and no more rain is forecast either.

If Kings Lynn were anywhere near full strength and this was a meeting of any importance or due to be televised they'd be moving heaven and earth to get the track fit. You're either very naive, or your name is Buster Chapman. Edited July 19, 2017 by Shads

Star Lady
Â So youre happy to see the tractors go round and then No reason for tractors to go round. Been no rain since 6 am, slight breeze, nice and warm and the sun has shown it's face now and then. No rain forecast.
cityrebel
Buster used to be the man who could rescue a meeting after wet weather conditions. Now he reminds me of Len silver, who used to call meetings off at rye if there was a dark cloud in the sky. Maybe it's an age thing.
TheRealFiend
So many questions with no answers. Â Buster hasn't showed any respect to Gavin Caney or the fans in fact he probably comes out of this even worse then Batchelor and Holder do. Â You can't say to your paying customers that there will be comments in the programme about last weeks meeting and then that's the end of it. Â Just being a coward with no backbone tbh. Â If I was Buster I would have run tonight's meeting and before the first race I would get on the mic and apologise to the fans for last weeks fiasco. Â I also would've sacked Batchelor and Holder and got 2 Championship riders in to send out a statement that no rider is bigger than the club and that the fans opinions do matter. Â Yes the team would look weak but at least you would have 7 riders who are proud to represent Kings Lynn and would put in 100% for the fans no matter what the conditions are like.
Gavan
To be honest if Batchelor got away with his pretend injury and walkout without some form of repercussion it would be a travesty. Looks like Buster believes like the rest of us that Batchelor wasn't injured at all and has hopefully shown him the door. Batchelor is not currently injured so no reason why he wouldn't be riding. Â Looks like heads have rolled after last weeks debacle. please again i ask why its a pretend injury? Â James Shanes with his 'pretend injury' is riding tonight?? No you dont agree? Â I'm no Batchelor fan but to be fair he did take a heavy knock to his wrist on Monday so this time it might be genuine. Â What is unacceptable is fans finding out from sources other than the club. Â correct Batchelor appeared to be injured again in heat 15 when guesting for Swindon last Monday so perhaps this time he really has a genuine excuse not to ride. correct

a wet track was the root of the problems last week so he'd not want any more whinges would he ?
