tellboy
Must be the healing waters of the North that did the trick. Maybe dropped in at Harrogate to take water. Trees
You obviously have a problem with Batchelor, but i am quite happy with him putting over 2pts on his average. He's been riding pretty good this season, very consistent and has certainly been making passes that he wouldn't have done for a while. Theboss
You obviously have a problem with Batchelor, but i am quite happy with him putting over 2pts on his average. I only have a problem with him because he only cares about himself and does not a give a **** about his kings Lynn team mates. Whatever he scores is at a detriment to his team mates. Someone like mads may not score as many but his respect and belief in his team mates will ensure he adds a lot more points on to everyone else's results.

mrss
Promotion don't do themselves any favours by keeping the fans in the dark. If Kai is going to his knitting club Wednesday why don't they say so.
Speedwaycrazy
Blimey, what team will Lynn be fielding tomorrow with Holder suspended, Huckenbeck missing! and Batchelor potentially injured ( at least it looked that way last night!!) waytogo28
Plus  Team manager? Announcer/presenter? Co promoter?  Ah the sense of mystery! which I enjoy in TV detective dramas but not when the team is shrouded in mystery and everything is Top Secret. Only yesterday Buster promised such a farce as last Thursday will never happen again at KLS but he needs to increase the transparency and communication to really appease fans. Or instruct Pearson to do it as he runs the website. Anyone know the likely Rye House team? Not on their website, it must also be run by Pearson as it is woefully out of date re this week. Quick! Rush the whole team to Little Walsingham just in case the healing waters of the "north" of Norfolk work for the Stars.
Bunce
Â You were fortunate that you never went last week. Many times I have wished I hadn't gone either. But before you make a stupid comment like the above, Lets imagine you had paid your fee and was there waiting for the meeting to continue. At one time we were leading by 6, but now because of our riders not wanting to race, we are now 6 points drift. The Mic man tells us the Ref is coming down from his box to sort out some of the rider's issues. Then we wait,....... and wait......... We hear nothing,....... but we witness Buster working flat-out during remedy work on the track. Over an hour passes and still no information. We, the fans can only wait around ,in the hope we can claw back those points we are adrift. Â Eventually 75 mins after the last message, we are informed that the meeting will continue. It is another 5 mins later we are informed that Batchelor would not be riding again and that we could use IRR as a replacement.... Don't you think the fans should've been told of Batch missing before making them wait over an hour under false pretences. It truth we never had a hope n' hell of getting back those points, and had the fans been kept informed they could have made their own mind up whether to stay or go home.... Â So this misdemeanour was far more than that. It was the dirtiest, most underhanded, contempt to the fans I've ever witnessed.... Totally agree. Buster worked his socks off to get the track rideable, and it was. I've seen far worse tracks over the years, and his efforts were rewarded by "normal" speed racing and some very fast times. No rider had any hairy moments after the track work, and nobody crashed or fell off. However by that time, like you, I was totally gutted. It was a mixture of disbelief and anger at what I had just witnessed. I made my mind up as I left the stadium that I wouldn't be wasting my time and money any more here this season. I shall still follow the Stars, I always have and probably always will, but the sour taste that was left in my mouth will take a long time to go away. Since then, as usual, we have had almost no information. No updates. A very poor excuse of an apology and just the usual waffle. Where was Rob Lyon on the night? Why didn't one of the promoters come on to the centre green and explain to the fans what was happening? To rub salt in to the wound, "injured" Troy Batchelor who was unable to ride for his own team that night, guests twice this week to help our rivals score points against us! Beggars belief! Â As was previously said, Troy Batchelor hasn't broken any rules, but he also appears to have no morals and not a care in the World for the Lynn supporters, its just how much money he can pack in to his wallet. Well I can assure him, none of it will be my money.
semion
The main person everyone wanted to hear from the other night was far to busy tyre packing the track with the little Truck, to have the time to speak en-mass to his loyal customer base. Surely Buster should have been in the front line of this mess not pee arsing about riding around in the presentation truck with all the chairs still on board. Professional sport ? You couldn't write it.

You couldn't write it. Â Not the case, Dale Allitt and Rob Lyon are the co-promoters for King's Lynn Speedway 2017. Buster had relieved of match day duties to concentrate on track curating and BSPA Chairman. The comments made by Buster in the press release was about as far as he could comment. Dale had been taken ill so the silence from Rob Lyon has been very disappointing.
False dawn
I thought after a few days, the dust might have started to settle on this one. But no. And why? Well it's the same reason we hear in many such circumstances; a lack of communication. A lack of any explanation on the night. A lack of any real explanation the next day. A lack of what, "This will never happen again" really means. I was there last Thursday, as a neutral. I was hoping to see a key clash between two teams chasing play off places (actually I went to see Poole get beat, but hey I come from Coventry!). Seriously, I love to see a close match, fought out by 14 (well at least 12) committed competitors. We didn't get that, but the worst part was that I and many other fans went home somewhat bewildered by what we saw. It was obvious that certain riders were not enjoying the conditions. But it was equally obvious that others were riding as hard as ever. I believe the only way KL are going to recover this situation is to bare their souls. Tell us what happened, warts and all and tell what they intend to do.It'll be no worse than the speculation. Treat your fans with respect Edited July 18, 2017 by False dawn
semion
Allitt was on his way to hospital, the night was in turmoil, I would expect the owner and main promoter to step up to the mark, when the thing was going badly ** up. He had plenty of bodes about who could have driven that little truck around the track. Caney was in the pits trying to find out what was going on and couldn't find Lyon, while Buster was tyre packing. it was left for Caney to offer and apology not for the events that had unfolded but for the lack of any information he could pass on. The guy was really hung out to dry. The Buck stops with Buster, not with Allitt who was on his way to hospital or Lyon ( who was employed by Buster). Treat your fans with respect" Â So many fans fully agree with that but is Buster listening? I hope so. Will he react positively to this desire from fans? I hope so. Rob Lyon should stand down as co-promoter, as he only ever was "in name only" and seems to have no function to fulfil on race nights. As suggested he should have gone out on the centre green and explained things to the waiting crowd. . T Â The speculation is worse than the truth almost always! Politicians are strongly advised to " tell the truth, tell it all and tell it quickly" to recover from a scandal. Last Thursday was a scandal and sadly Buster's latest apology ends with " let's put it behind us and move on". Not so easy for some fans. Oh and as a consolation sop a free race card will be given out this week ( 20p per person cost?) Â
TheReturn
Sadly this Holder / Kings Lynn mess is nothing new for the sport. I remember watching heat after heat of 5-0 for Long Eaton when Dave Jessup led a walkout of Mildenhall riders at Station Road. The Midlenhall Juniors though showed they had balls and did ride the second half to their credit. Â Rider safety must come first, always, but rider tantrums should never be tolerated. Maybe the sport needs to involve experienced former riders to be independent track adjudicators at every meeting... although adds more costs. Haza
I think the best thing to happen for tomorrow night v Rye is a rain off another week between home meetings to let the dust settle so to speak would be best for fans and club . And in that week it be good to have some bridge building done by the club .
