stevebrum
Poole will have new Signing Timo Lahti making his debut in place of Nicolai klindt who's season is over. Klindt's season isn't over. He rode tonight! More like his season with Poole is over. Racing at Poole has been in general good this year. I like a laugh Steve, but I can't stand up yet my sides are splitting. The Poole track has been an embarrassment for a while now. I grant you it used to be a great race track. The last few times its been on TV (last year too) plus the dreadful track for the 1st match and the awful injury to Kyle shows its been poor and dangerous all season. It's funny how the cameras always tell a different story to your version isn't it?!! Edited July 15, 2017 by stevebrum

Poole V Swindon on Wednesday should be a good one. Track was pretty good against Lynn. Much smoother and plenty of passing. And no wobbling about from any riders. In general racing at Poole is far superior from anything Monmore could throw up. An opinion of course but if Monmore was my local club I would probably have gone to speedway about twice in my life. Evidence ..... heat 13 on Monday versus procession from Poole against Belle Vue. Shame the riders have to be subjected to a motorcross type track complete with bumps. Shame too, as I miss my trips to Poole. The only passing you get at Wolves is when an away rider pulls a locker or when a reserve wobbles around the corners. Even when our place is bumpy it still produces better racing than Monmore Watch heat 13 from Monday before you embarrass yourself further. CB252
I was at Poole on Wednesday. Good meeting I thought. Anyone rating Rye or Swindon above Poole for racing belongs in the nut house!

Its a thoroughly entertaining race track. Belle Vue and Somerset are better imo, but I visit every track in the league at least once every season and Poole is better than most. Its down to personal taste and opinion. We are lucky we see riders pass inside and out on every bend. No hiding place. Plenty of passing most meetings. When you read tracks like Leicester and Now Kings Lynn have virtually no passing in a meeting after the first bend it shows how lucky we are. Steve Shovlar
There is bound to be passing at Monmore Monday. Some of our lads wobbling around and being picked off easily. KK who rode well tonight in the SEC on a fast track will look like a junior as lesser riders who are dialled in like Howarth will sail past. That's the massive home track advantage of Monmore. It's clear there are major issues with the track particularly this year. Hopefully something can be sorted for a better race track for 2018. bruno
From what I've seen I'd go BV,Somerset,Wolves,Swindon,Poole,Rye,Leicester. I've left KL out because from what I've seen with my own eyes theyed go 3rd but according to reports I'd put them 7th

The track at Poole on Wednesday was like a billiard table as they obviously had taken the riders advice and sorted it out, the same as they did last year after losing to Belle Vue on tv. Even the notorious hole on bend one was gone and the start wasn't ripped up like it normally is, which I'm led to believe, is what causes the turn one hole to appear in the first place.

Consistency in track prep seems a real issue but it's not before time they are trying to make it safer.

Steve Shovlar
Kk rode well tonight He did but don't think tonight or tomorrows league tally he might get will reflect on what he will score at Monmore. A missed flight on Monday wouldn't be a bad thing.

Maybe he might get the same illness that poor Dany Gappmier had for Swindon a couple of weeks ago. Kk rode well tonight But not in a Poole jacket tho! Fans of all teams told you that he would let you down big time and he has certainly done that !
Col
Ford too bung Lindgren & Thorsell enough dosh, so they only look like they are trying, but score very little. Yet Pirates to inept to win anyway. 46-44.
