Col
Just watched this recorded meeting. If Leicester naming a #8 is still allowed and that rider could have taken a ride I hope from this point forward Leicester always name a #8. Hope all the injured riders are not badly injured. Hope Eric Riss thinks about where his team mate could be in the future. Fair play to Swindon for taking advantage of Leicester misfortune. Guest GiveusaB
Having watched this match last night....I have to say that 'Lynch' ought to be 'lynched'.....he hasnt got a clue !? He cost Leicester the match imo ! And to think that he spent time as England's boss? says it all really !
flagrag
More bad news for Leicester Kim Nillson has broken his arm in the heat 15 crash. It is a clean break but will be missing for the next few weeks so looks like we are going to have a number of guests again to cover for injuries
Robbobee
So we have No 1 Kim Nilsson out injured, No 2 Pawel Przedpelski out injured, both Kyle Newman and Josh Bates coming back from injury but how fit are they ? We lost the match on Mon by a single point when we should have had the firepower to at least win having been 11 points up with 6 races to go .... and the web site says ' otherwise, was a good night for Leicester Speedway' ?? Got to be the most optimistic statement of the year I reckon !!! Still shell shocked after Mon ....
racers and royals
Never forgot the Wayne Carter crash think he ended up in the car park Think I have found it thanks to the Speedway researcher website 1995- the season of the one big league ason : 1995 Venue : Blunsdon Competition : British Premier League Swindon 44 Wolverhampton 51 Date : 29/7/1995 Comments : Swindon 1 Craig Boyce 2 2 3 0 3 10 2 Gary Chessell f/x 0 0 0 3 Mark Thorpe 3 3 2 3 0 11 4 Glenn Cunningham 1 1 1+1 0 3 +1 5 Brian karger 3 2 2 1 1 9 6 John Jefferies 0 0 0 0 7 Patrick Olsson 1 0 3 2+1 1 2+1 2 11 +2 . Wolves 1 Sam Ermolenko 3 2 3 3 3 2 +1 16+1 2 Wayne Carter N/S 0 3 Jacob Olsen R/R 4 Stephen Morris 0100 1 5 Peter Karlsson 2332+1 3 13+1 6 Richard Juul 2+1 212023 12+1 7 Colin White 3 1+1 1+1 1111 9+2 I`m pretty sure Stephem Morris got hurt and couldn't continue leaving 4 riders- with 3 races with only 1 Wolves rider. SteveLyric2
Thomas H Jonasson (THJ) has let it be known he's in discussion with 2 British clubs about racing in UK. Could one of those clubs be Leicester? Edited July 19, 2017 by Skidder1
flagrag
The problem being with signing replacements is the cut of date next week, So Leicester could make a jump and sign new riders to replace Kim and Pawel but then when they are fit they can't bring them back in so which is unfair on them and need to make sure the replacements are as good to see the club through to the end of the year. They can sign as injury replacements(eg 28 days) and the injured riders can come back after the end of July- it`s in the rule book. Big Al
Jim Lynch may have his faults as a Manager, but what he had to deal with on Monday would have been a challenge to anyone in that situation. He also had TV interviews to fulfil, and he dealt with those well, as opposed to Mr Rossiter who seemed mainly interested in making cheap shots. No, what lost Leicester that match, took place on the track. Some daft decisions by riders, one of them not helped by his unfamiliarity with the track and with his team-mate, and poor performances by certain riders when the chips were down. And one bad refereeing decision.

The one bad refereeing decision was not excluding Newman in Heat 1 - it was clearly shown in the replays that it wasn't first bend bunching and he overcooked it all on his own #justsaying

You could always come up with a reason why it was a bad decision ? I am likely to see about half a dozen refs on Saturday- I will ask them what they thought and let you know.

Therefore Pawel would be the prime cause for falling and not Riss for causing him to fall.

Each rider has 3 opponent`s in every race- no mention in the rule at all about "team mates"- because if it did it would be stupid-" It`s ok to stuff your team mate lads but you can`t get away with it if the rider rides for the other side"
