The Observer
"Our season starts on Monday", says Jim Lynch, well let's see. With new signings Pawel Przedpelski (what a signing) & Kyle Newman (terrific when fit and riding with confidence) it should certainly strengthen the Lions, however the Robins are on a roll at present both with and without Doyley. I just hope there's a good crowd for BT Sport to show, credit to the Leicester Management for reduced admission, because after recent events "God knows" the sport needs a boost. The Observer
I see this as being a nail biter, something the Lions Supporters have experienced many times before. What's needed is to nullify their "track specialist" Nick Morris and out score Ellis who since dropping into the reserve berth is scoring for fun. If the Lion's heat leaders aren't all firing I can see a narrow Robins win, in which case where do the Lions go from here?

A ORLOV
If the robins perform as they have recently we should get at least 3 points from this.
keef robin
If the robins perform as they have recently we should get at least 3 points from this. If we can win at top team Belle Vue by 14 points without Doyley, no disrespect to Leicester, we should be getting full points to get into the playoffs. We still have Somerset and Leicester twice at home. Hoping for another Bellego and Wilson-Dean super show. With Adam and Zach at reserve Swindon have a very powerful line-up.

Agreed, but the jewel in the crown this week will be a second win at Poole on wed.

Until you beat Belle Vue so well tother night, thought this might be a meeting we could get something from. Now just can't see it. Reckon it'll be a close one though. Is Mr.Doyle riding? Mr Bump
No we have Batch riding at 1. Thanks. Genuinely think that's a shame, nobody better to watch in full flow at Beaumont Park than Doyley.
justathought
Lets face it, Leicester need to win this one. A lot depends on how the Pole goes. However, we now have two strong reserves ........And I think I'm right in saying that Swindon have never won at Leicester. (I stand corrected if wrong )
Gunner85
I gave up going to Leicester after only seeing one reasonable match re entertainment and 9 garbage matches. I will be interested to see if there actually has been any improvement in the track
stevethelion
Any news on Bates fitness, he withdrew after his 2nd ride at Peterborough on Friday suffering from an injury, which I think he received riding at Ipswich on Wednesday. If he isn't fit Lions will have to use R/R now he's in the 1-5, which means Newman, Riss & Bjerre , to take his rides, which would make Lions a lot stronger. Sidney the robin
An away win i am pretty confident then hopefully Wolves will do some damage to Poole then the season is really on Poole look in trouble to me Lahti hardly an inspiring signing. The Observer
With Adam and Zach at reserve Swindon have a very powerful line-up. They do have a pretty solid 1-7, but the new Lions reserve pairing of Riss & Bjerre should be stronger than Ellis & Wajtknecht and Nilsson should get the better of Bachelor, so it's down to Nos 2-5 to battle it out. Przedpelski needs to dial in quickly, anyone any idea whether he's put in some practice this week?
