some people just can't help it, its a shame really,,,

well done Captain Cook and his men, they obviously 'bottled it' in the KOC,,, and good to see/hear Cookie got a max, still way off the track record, but might get it sometime.

Jesus, it's like reading the conversation of 4 year olds on here xD

that's right in you're genre then ;) Edited by ruffdiamond

Good victory by the Comets last night but it was always going to be a tough task for the Diamonds. We failed to cover for Rose and Morris seemed well off his usual standard and Hopwood was a bit subdued, maybe all of those crashes of late have caught up with him. I also don't think it helped with Bowtell trying a novel dismount of his machine after his great Heat 2 5-1, never seemed the same rider after that and having to use others equipment is not ideal. Ludvig was much better this week and both him and Lambert were trying that outside run but it just seemed to far. Proctor had one of his better meetings at Brough for a long time and I lost count how many times the ref let Jorgensen jump the start. Cookie was Cookie, class act and always a pleasure to watch at Brough, never looked like getting beaten, Lambert gave it a good go in 15 and if not for that bit of unexpected drive coming out of turn 2 on the first lap may have just lowered Cookie's colours.

All in all the result was as I expected, would have liked a draw and at one point thought we might just sneak a win, but Heat 14 did not go our way. Onwards and upwards and looking forward to the return of the prodigal son Robbo (subject to BSPA approval of course, as you never know).

What I mean't was Robert and Steve would have been at newcastle on sunday whether it was a rearranged fixture or not.
