solrac
Lol! Even onion has come out of the shadows to celebrate BWD, he knows a good rider when he sees one ha ha! Having built a bargain bucket side, and even when we were able to outbid Swindon (ironically) for a 4 point rider results like this at our track are always a possibility. Poole and KL will be looking nervously at Swindon's results over the next couple of weeks. No Swindon fans tonight though? The crowd was already down due to Belle Vue's almost certain qualification and the play off chasing team brought virtually no fans. Yet ANOTHER example of the qualifier and cup format being a lose lose when it comes to attendances, great for the the stay at home keyboard fans to say how great they are though, doh! Yawn. A ORLOV
Have run out of likes but like all the above posts. What a great result and performance from all the riders, 4 points will start to move us up the league, that is 7 points from BV in 2 days. What is good is that tonight BWD with paid max improved his performance. It now seems that different riders are doing well in different meetings. Thanks must go to Batch for helping us out again. Leicester, Poole and Rye House had better be on top form week.
SCB
Christ, did see that one coming. And if someone had told me that BWD would score a Premiership maximum this year Id have laughed, laughed even more if they said it would be away from home! Fair play, between him and Bellego they're keeping this Robins teams plodding along while one or two others struggle or are out injured. Crazy robin
And i had a bet on Swindon +13. Well done to the Swindon boys. They have finally clicked as a team and look very dangerous now. That reserve pairing is awesome i must say. Yes of course you did

stevebrum
How on earth have Swindon suddenly become stronger without Doyle?? Bizarre in the extreme. The robins certainly look the form team right now. A stunning 4 pointer for the Robins, congratulations.

solrac
Now that is funny, you post that you've yawned for the 'billionth time' and brum of all people liked it. The irony is both very very sad but at the same time absolutely brilliant! Thank you bsf and in particular backward carlos and brum, it is a thing of beauty, lol! In fact lol doesn't do it justice, it should be spelt out that I literally did laugh out loud!! Thank you Mr Drop a Cog (why did you change your nom de plume Btw? ) . You certainly live up to your BSF surname..
Aces51
A well deserved win for the Robins. Not a surprise to me, we are very vulnerable at home, far too many riders enjoy racing at the NSS and we have been pushed hard by lesser teams than Swindon. They had no weak links and BWD was exceptional.I was concerned that Batchelor might further injure his thumb riding so soon after his crash. No excuses, we were beaten by the better side. Swindon were gating better and using the outside run to good effect. Bewley rode well and was winning heat 14 when Tungate fell, Fricke showed some determination as did Bjerre and Worrall but Cook seemed reluctant to use the wide racing line, had a primary chain snap in heat 11 and ended up coming out on Worrall's bike in heat 13. Tungate was signed as a NSS track specialist to give us extra strength at home but has not yet shown he can deliver what is needed. Gunner85
Good racing as expected. Aces were not good enough tonight.....Swindon deserve their win... Wilson Dean was very impressive
mikec
No excuses, Swindon were terrific from top to bottom tonight. Great set ups, sharp gating, rode intelligent lines, deserved win. I'd never seen BWD race before, one way to leave a lasting impression! From a GB point of view, Ellis looked a different rider from the rider pootling round at the back for the Pirates here last year. Not too many calling for him to be dropped now (unlike 3 months ago). On that form, see you's again in September.....
Panthers89
So this was a rearranged meeting and Swindon used BWD, how does this work?
ouch
This is typical of how threads can go. Flange might go on a bit but he always starts off discussing the actual topic. He gave his reasons why the Aces lost and have the potential to lose again. Solrac (this time) comes up with two off topic posts, not even trying to mention the match. Fred won't take it lying down and then the usual suspects leap in taking the topic off tangent again, spoiling it for everyone else. STOP IT! Belle Vue were shocking from the gate last night and the track was a bit too gate and go to do anything about it. Opposing teams have taken 11 points in 7 matches whereas they have only taken 9 from 9 away. Though it offers no home advantage whatsoever I still wouldn't change it for the world. Sidney the robin
Season is wide open now. Wolves need to get the reserve signing right if they don't then the weak reserves could be an issue however dynamite at home surprised they didn't sign Ayres tbh. BV not convincing at home all season long but a very good away side. Poole we have the KK form and injury problems to worry about. Swindon looking very good at the moment but can Wajtknecht keep his form up and what will they be like when Ellis moves back up into the 1-5. I would say Wolves at the moment but any of these 4 teams could win If Ellis moves up BWD more and likely moves down which is not a problem Brad this year has rode hard for sometimes little and at reserve can fill his boots for me Wolves have a problem in there reserve berths.
GWC
As a Rye fan I'm now rooting for the Robins as they have stood by their riders and are gaining the reward. BWD has huge potential and I'm sure a few Polish teams will be taking a look.
SteveLyric2
Another great result for the Robins. It sure looks like the BV boys have suffered the worse SWC hangover than most! It makes the play off situation much more interesting with more teams in the running, especially if Rye beat Wolves tonight and the Robins (with injury-free Batch guesting again) beating Leicester on Monday?! Sidney the robin
Riss has to be replaced quite a bad injury and even if he comes back will take time to get back to full speed. Can Clegg come back for Greaves now? or not i feel he could score a extra point or two which could be vital to replace Riss that will be difficult.
