To be honest i think Peterborough should be kicked out, one semi run with just 4 teams, the promotion should then compensate the other riders for loss of income

Seems pretty straightforward:-

16.1 Fixtures shall take priority as follows:

FIM SGP, SWC, SGP Qualifying Meetings, FIM U21 World Speedway Championship Meetings, FIM Europe U21 Championship, British Championships (Senior, Junior), BSPA Shared and Fee Events, Official Competitions: 1. SGB Premiership; 2. SGB Championship; 3. National Development League.

NB. Non-Official Competitions have no priority over any of the above.

A Rider must be released to take part in a higher priority Meeting, unless he is “Doubling Up”, in which case the priority for a clash of Official Meetings is as follows: -

a) The Original Fixture if there is a clash with a re-arranged Fixture

B) 1st priority to the owner of the rider

c) 2nd priority to the previous season club

d) 3rd priority to the league in which the owner club is a member.

16.1.2 A Transfer during the Season does not change this priority.

16.1.3 It is the duty of the Staging Promotion to ensure that all Fixtures are completed and in the event of it being necessary to re-arrange a Team Fixture, the Promoter(s) shall mutually agree a re- staging date. Should they fail to agree the sole authority to specify a date and/or venue for the re-staging shall lie with the BSPA MC.

16.1.4 In all Events that count towards a Championship, the Regulations must be adhered to and any Team or Individual found in breach of the Regulations will be liable to a penalty including the loss of League Points or removal from a Competition.

Supplementary Regs.

Draw and Riding Order:

Will be made by the BSPA.

Each Team must include their Top 4 by MA, with a Reserve being optional. If a reserve is named, then he must be the lowest by MA from the 5 selected riders. Actual Team line ups for the Semi Final must be declared 5 days prior to the event. For the Final, line ups can be changed, but must be declared within Fifteen (15) minutes of completion of the Semi Final.

Are you allowed to bring your own food into the stadium? Taking the family along to this and expecting a long day!

We always do. The food outlets there are ridiculously expensive

So does mean that Peterborough could be thrown out?

Let's just hope that the BSPA grow a set and take the appropriate action against Holder and Peterborough. Its the least the fans deserve.

If you mean bitter fans on a speedway forum then yes.

The majority of the speedway public are sensible folk, they understand the circumstances involved.

If you're so against Peterborough, don't come tomorrow; stick to your gate and go race track.

Oh but I am here, sat in my Peterborough hotel right now, I would be only to happy to discuss this matter further.

That stuff must all have been in place as he was named in Panthers 4s team 10 days ago and his image used to advertise the event!

Classic speedway shambles.

Not to mention the local rag bigged him up only yesterday with a headline grabbing "Holder the Aussie ace in the pack for Panthers" in which our esteemed Team Manager is quoted as saying " he hoped he would Put in another top performance for us in the Fours". So what changed? Poland that's what!

And there is the other problem, everyone is scared of another track possibly closing so no action will be taken

So what exactly are you suggesting?

Are you stating that the Panthers should be fined?

The last thing British Speedway needs is clubs being fined, the majority of clubs are already on a tightrope.

I see that speedway hating Alan Swann has done the update, and being the arse he is has dropped in Panthers Supremo to satisfy his attention seeking. Reading the piece again though, this is a supremo moment!

No the last thing speedway needs is another nail in the coffin, because promoters and riders act in their own best interests, because there isnt much space on the coffin lid for many more before it gets put in the ground
