Championship Fours 06/08 Peterborough

Recommended Posts

I am sure Peterborough Speedway will put out a statement saying how they feel for their rider and what an awful position he has been put in, what they should be saying is that they expect Holder to be at the EoES on Sunday, in the Peterborough team and not in Poland. Time will tell but I think we all know the answer to that one.

Torun is a very wealthy club that is currently bottom of the league and in dire risk of being relegated from the Polish Ekstraliga gravy train. After the failure of his brother they will see James' paid 16 last week as a lifeline to be grabbed at any cost.

I can't see his brother encouraging him to put his British commitments first.

Unfortunately the Poles call the tune and a novelty meeting in a speedway backwater isn't a concern of theirs .

It should be a concern of Holder though. :neutral:

It should be the responsibility of the organisers to give a definitive answer on this. However this is Speedway and it is doubtful if they will, being more concerned that the truth may have an adverse effect on the crowd.

Torun = 00

1. Adrian Miedzinski -

2. Greg Hancock -

3. Michael Jepsen Jensen -

4. Grzegorz Walasek -

5. Chris Holder -

6. TBC

7. Igor Kopec-Sobczynski-

Jack Holder not listed in the Torun team for Sunday...

If he was, would he be in tbc? Or who usually fill that space?

If Holder was going to be riding he would be in positions 1-5, No`s 6 and 7 in Poland is for Polish juniors.

Thanks, so one assumes that there's nothing to report and Holder will be riding as planned. Played a bit of a blinder getting a bit of interest in the event by allegedly flying out Friday, if he did at all, and returning today if he had to ;)
