TheRealFiend
I think Matt will be seeing a few riders coming over today for the GP tommoz. Only rider who we can win the league from here is Magic/Dudek!! Not a chance they sign but only two. Matt needs to sign someone with UK experience! Lahti is a good rider! If he can get 10 in Sweden and Poland should be able to get it here. Should have got more points last night if KK didn't cut him off! Lahti has been a good signing. 5 points at home and 5 at Wolves when KK has tried to cut him off at any given opportunity. My money is on AJ. Starman2006
Shocking performance last night. Matt Ford will make changes without a doubt. Don't write us off yet folks! That's all I'm going to say Please dont try and come across like you know more than anybody else, because you don't... foreverblue
I think we need to get some Magic back in the team, if Milik could come we wouldn't have signed Lahti. Can only see one change, Starke, J Holder, Hans, Shanes,Kurtz have all done good jobs and Lahti needs a period of adjustment and will improve. stevebrum
As KK is leaving shortly, was there a collection amongst the faithful to recognise his sterling service? I bet anyone who supported his laughable testimonial isn't laughing now either. I wonder, does KK hold the record for the amount of times he has been sacked by British clubs, or even for fake injuries or worst excuses for not riding? without question I'd imagine. True. Janusz Kolodziej? Doesn't ride in Sweden. Doesn't rides in the GP'S or the SEC so if the money was right Janusz could be tempted. Besides the odd season many moons ago seems to have no interest in riding over here.
EnglishRoundabout
What was the Pirates previous heaviest home defeat? Yes, come on, let's keep this thread on track....let's discuss things like Pirates heaviest home defeat, the last time the Pirates were thumped at home twice in one season by the same team without the showers being sabotaged.....any other records that the Robins have broken?

theblueboy
Grondal is useless. Kurtz will be a straight swap for Worrall that was the deal (28 day replacement) Andreas Jonsson straight swap for KK possibly? On the basis of what was witnessed and reported last night I would say he is a good fit for this Pirates line up...

Gresham78
Outstanding performance and victory from the Robins last night albeit against one of the weaker Poole sides of recent years, however you have to beat what's in front of you and this was on the Pirates own track which has not been a very happy hunting ground for the Robins in the last few years. This was an excellent all round team performance from the Budgies with everybody contributing. Confidence must have been high in the team already after the recent run but with the added bonus of Doyley back in the fold team spirit must have been at maximum level.. There seemed to be a determination about the team right from the off which the Pirates couldn't match and with the home team only able to provide 4 race wins and not a single heat advantage on the night ( when did that last happen at Wimborne Rd?) this was really quite a humiliation. The signing of Tobias has given the middle order a real boost and we look well balanced. Credit to Rosco for biding his time and not panicking when early results were mixed. Despite the reaction of some Poole fans I don't think there's a massive amount wrong. A decent replacement for KK ( with the emergence of so many young Polish riders his career seems to be firmly in reverse) and Brady back in the side and I expect Poole to be in the play offs. Lahti is a decent replacement for Klindt and Starke has covered capably for the departure for Newman. I think the current top 4 will make up the play offs at the end of the season. Kings Lynn had a real chance of being in the mix but that club seems to be imploding with the events of the last week.
foreverblue
As regards KK always liked him before, had a decent season for Coventry and always thought he would get over his troubles but alas it was not to be.

You are so sad. None of us Poole fans care about last night now. Its happened and that's it. You must live a pretty sad life seeing as you are still going on about something that happened yesterday. Everyone has moved on. We have a life unlike you and beefy keefy.
kingbee
Sundstrom you are correct 7.22 THJ's last average over here was something like 5.60. Britain are never going to do anything on the world stage anyway. Keep some Brits in the top league. Riders like (Cook, S. Worrall, King, R. Lambert, Harris, Nicholls and more). Lets face it all these stupid Brit rules are just causing havoc anyway. Nearly every Brit doubles up and it causes big problems for Championship sides. Guests galore due to riders doubling up. Keep the 2 British riders per a team rule for the Championship. Premiership should be 1 Brit per a team. just because it don't suit Poole I think it's a good rule stops Ford from filling his team with none British riders works for other teams ok

TheRealFiend
rubbish Tell that to the Promoters of Championship clubs. They will agree with me. I'm right and you're wrong. Simples.
