Poole Pirates Vs Swindon Robins 19/07/17

Recommended Posts

After suffering their third home defeat this season against the Kings Lynn Stars, the Pirates will be looking to exact revenge on the Robin's who picked up 3-points in the A-fixture.

Swindon have shown good form of late with wins against Wolverhampton and Belle-Vue and have riders who go well at Wimborne Road.

Not sure whether Jason-Doyle will be fit to return but with David-Bellago,Nick-Morris,Adam-Ellis and new Signing Tobiasz Musielak able to take his rides could make them just as strong.

The Pirates may or may not have made a change or two to thier line-out by next week but this is a must win meeting if we are to remain in the top 4 for the playoffs.

Thoughts?

Wow you really think Swindon will be as strong with the World Championship leader missing and replaced by a heat leader , a reserve and a young Pole?

Poole to win this by 15 if no Doyle

That is what many said about last night against BV.

Knobs v Moonrakers, doubt if the Wiltshire side will do the double in Dorset, but you never know what to expect from Rosco's boys, even if Doyley is not riding. Should be close again.

I wonder if Orions going to pop down, I would very much doubt it, its a long walk from Swindon..

Doubt Doyley will risk it in GP week, so lets hope the Robins use Batch again - he simply loves Wimborne Road! lol (Oh wait they can't 'cos KL are racing!)

Also hope Lahti gets a few practice laps in before then.

Just musing about the play-offs - if its BV, Wolves, Poole and Swindon, I wonder who BV would pick?!

Yeah but to be fair that's with a guest scoring 9 from 4....the rest of the side were brilliant but at Poole it's still a massive ask with R/R so again a good guest required....wonder what Troy is doing? Although not confident he will hit double figures there
