Only in speedway could they come up a ruling that a opposition rider can only take part if sanctioned by the home team's paramedic!

That is unfair on Peterborough and the paramedic, putting undue pressure on them, damned if they do , damned if they don't. - And I say that as a Bears fan

Charles Wright will have " served" his 9 days compulsory "time out" by Sunday therefore should be clear to take part. Travelling Bears fans won't know what team they can expect to see riding for us until just before the meeting - plain daft IMO.

IT STINKS

Apparently Ged Rathbone was overheard to say yesterday at the British Youth Championship at Redcar yesterday that he has already had a word with the Peterborough medic and it is already agreed that Charles Wright will be ruled unfit to ride. As you say the rule says 9 days, BSPA told Redcar on Monday Charles would be clear to ride today. Only for something to go in behind the scenes (just like the Glasgow fiasco) and Redcar are told on Wednesday he would have to checked on Sunday.

At what time will Vatcher announce Redcar's team?

Probably gave it to Kevin Keay yesterday at the Youth Championships at Redcar yesterday (but hang on he is well known to change his mind) so he may ask for 2 medicals on Jason Garity as well as Charles Wright then tell us we have to use N L guests. Nothing surprises me now with BSPA attitude to Redcar.

Pure fantasy , somebody overheard somebody saying this or that, I think the on duty paramedic has the integrity to make his own mind up without advice from unqualified people.

Lets wait and see. It may be the Peterborough's win at all costs attitude that's behind it.

Plus who made the BSPA change their decision from Monday when they said to Redcar Charles was clear to ride today at Peterborough to Wednesday when they said a Peterborough medic had to check him today. As Redcar Team manager JItendra Duffill says in the local Teesside paper yesterday what can the medic check apart from looking into his eyes. Jitendra is a qualified optician maybe he will be allowed an opinion today. His own doctor would be better qualified to check him over as he will know his medical records. The only way to be sure is to do a head scan (or wait 9 days to see if there have been any after affects. Which Charles is reporting there are not any) as i said earlier IT STINKS.

Probably common practice just to check after such injury despite the lay off. Can check alertness, reactions, balance etc, you don't need medical records for that because we know what happened. Mountains and molehills spring to mind.
