waytogo28
Tai shouldn't be picked for the World Games if he can't be bothered to do the SWC. He's made his bed so now has to lie in it. You can't pick & choose when you want to get involved. He would have only wanted to do it as it benefits him. Home track, he has lots of Polish sponsors & would have only had to put up with Rosco for a couple of hours. May as well send Bewley & Lambert. Surely Cook will pull out to save face. Do send Bewley and Lambert as they are likely to be the mainstay of Team GB for many a year and won't disgrace themselves for lack of effort. If Lambert is suffering from a crisis of confidence after the SWC then send Ellis and give him some rides.

Wasn't that followed by Woffinden posting a picture of himself and Lambert on Twitter, saying that would have been his choice? He doesn't seem to accept the the manager makes the choice.
chris4gillian
When will all this Tai bashing stop? Remind me how many were screaming for him at Cardiff yet again this year? The SWC is a completely different animal to the World Games, any plonker can see that. One is the most prestigious team event a country can enter, the other purely an invitational due to the country the World Games is being held in. Based upon that I see no reason why Tai's decision to not race for Team GB in the SWC should affect an inclusion in the World Games. But that's only my opinion as I'm in the 'I don't hate Tai for a damn stupid reason' camp As others have said, the younger guys going could learn a lot from him and IMO the BSPA have lost another opportunity to take advantage of it.

RPNY
Doesnt matter who rides? It wont affect our finishing position! It would if Tai was riding thats my main point... But what is the up side to Bewley and Lambert going there and getting beaten out of sight. Will just crush their confidence.
Guest GiveusaB
I would like to see Tai riding....but we will still finish behind the Poles,Swedes,Aussies,Danes,Russians....so, may be 6th place? On current form Chris Harris would do better than Cook/Worral/Lambert etc etc etc.....

RPNY
Why cant it be flexible? He always said he could be back for 2018. We got embarrassed in the SWC this year, building for next year we could start with the world games.

We came 4th without our best rider ..try being Denmark or a Aussie..to even to get to the final with the side we had was amazing in most people's eyes .don't forget we been last or 3rd with woffy in the race off under middlo. Woffy made his stance thou he stuffs himself with McDonald's and drinks monster and he's going have stand by it now.

Why would the forum mean nothing ?..its has a large data base of fans giving a good idea what fans think on a large range of subjects .so it's quite clearly a good guide and as we can see opinion is divided on the subject ,that has become quite clear ..just because you so say t you know people inside speedway that think woffy is right means nothing as You can't prove it .the people I know think he's acted like a idiot but seeing I can't prove that or it be judged as being the public's opinion it's means nothing as well .

If it had been anywhere else we'd have got smashed and wouldn't have made it out of the playoffs and that's only if we'd had reached them which would've been questionable! What did Cardiff show ? If he doesn't want to ride in the SWC fair enough (although patriots like Harris would probably ride for nothing) but why does he have to continue to undermine the position of the manager? He has had a few outbursts on Twitter, including some very belittling remarks, which are usually removed by the following morning. He would be more respected and listened to if he got back on with the job and used his influence from within. He seems to love the fact that he has what he calls "haters" but I think his attitude has probably swelled their numbers from a handful to more (particularly when he boasts that he'll retire young with a big house and stacks of money and they'll have nothing).
