Woffy Vs Rosco

Recommended Posts

Not sure if your up to speed but Woffy is one who does not want be in the side ...

Ok genius... People are saying he shouldn't ever be in the team. Clearly if we want ANY success in the next few years we should be trying to find a solution. And he did want to ride last weekend. You were one of those saying he shouldnt right?

Why? He walked away from Team GB for the SWC with no good reason, so why should be automatically allowed back in? Yes he is our best rider, but that should not mean he calls the shots!

There was a good reason. There were a few in fact. Similar to the reasons Scotty, Rico and others walked away.

Clearly you are not up to speed.

He has never said he doesn't want to be in the side, he has said he won't ride with the way it is organised now. Just as others have done before him.

HOW some people still questioning whether or not Woffinden should be back in the team is beyond me.

Let us not forget the team was Going to be Cook and Lambert this weekend. Thankfully Stevie W came in and scored some points!

I doubt if Lambert will be picked again until he has shown that he can ride against the Poles and score points

Does it matter in one post I say he's a good and the next I say he's a great ? then you want people to have there own opinion but the moment they do you then get upset and the toys come out of the pram .

Maybe you should find a forum when people agree with you all the time .

Not sure if your up to speed but Woffy is one who does not want be in the side ...

Do you agree with ANYONE that is the question?🤔 anyway cant be assed with you anymore as speedibee would say P... O .. 😂✌️ Edited by Sidney the robin

So he said he doesn''t want be in the side at this present time ..of course the fact that he wanted ride in the world GAMES shows that not to be the case of course

Do you agree with ANYONE that is the question? anyway cant be assed with you anymore as speedibee would say P... O ..

Sorry if I AM on ignore how can you reply to me ?

So only other people who think woffy is in the wrong are posting from personal feeling and there point of view but others who are pro woffy like yourself are not lol ? The forum is full of fans from all over the uk who has very little bias on most points, so it's a great way of gageing public opinion on speedway matters, and as I said woffy divides people 50 -50 these days that is quite clear . So it's not silly at all to take note of this forum on speedway opinion

Your logic and I not sure how you work it out is that people who don't go forums are mainly pro Woffy while people that against him log on to do so ..that is silly .

lol 50-50

not even close.

on a forum where a large number of people fall under the category of trolling i would say its at least 3 out of 4 in support of Tai.

wouldnt take anything that comes out of Shovvy or Starmans mouth as an ounce of credibility or speedibee.

that leaves the odd one.....50/50 my ar5e

What makes You or Woffinden think he's qualified to have the whole of British Speedways future resting in his hands ? . What , other than pure arrogance makes him and you think he has all the answers , better men than Woffinden have tried and failed . I'm pretty sure nobody ever asked for his opinion , so why should he be offended that no-one is interested in it ,other than a few star struck fools .

talking out of your backside

Mark Loram, possibly one of the most respected riders ever, has been asked numerous times to get involved and has refused every time. A couple of personal tragedies he has had put to one side, he has said he will NEVER be involved under the way the BSPA is set up at the moment, and in his own words , thats a crying shame as so many past and current riders, including Tai are being ignored

He has to be in it to win it. At the moment he has won it as many times as I have. And if he keeps up his selfish and arrogant attitude to British speedway he will end his career viewed as a pariah. All very sad and a waste, but he has never been a team player.

crap

who has been advising and helping Steve Worrall????

Steve Worrall is proving that our boys can be competitive at the highest level without intervention of Tai (afaik). Steve is a fantastic gater for starters but there's much more to it than that.

lol another one who doesnt check facts before posting

Steve Worrall has got Tai helping him....................oops

On a recent Travel Plus Tours trip to the World Cup, around 100 fans got the chance to have a brief 10-minute audience with Woffy before his Sunday PL meeting with Wroclaw.

I would say it was 90/10 in favour of Tai before he spoke. Afterwards, he only seemed to have one detractor left, and it seemed to be 99/1.

It's not 50/50 by a long, long way. Most fans are in support of Woffy. He is, after all, the only truly World Class British rider at this moment in time.

All the best

Rob

You're right about the trolls making it look like woofinden has so much support on here, but even if you take the troll support out it would still be around 50/50, I'm surprised you think it wouldn't be that high but you're entitled to your opinion.

ah bless trying to twist what i write ....good for you

Indeed, I met him after last year's world cup and he is completely different in real life compared to his dreadful media persona.

I think if Gavan met him he would realise it isn't just trolls who support him.

ah so the trolls support him then.

its a waste of my oxygen and typing trying to have a discussion when you get involved.

Just in case your not intelligent enough....

Tai has the support of 95% of British speedway fans.granted that should be a 100%

A few numptys on here like Starman , Shovlar and Speedibee are hardly a reflection of what the real fan thinks.

But thinks for your input.as worthless as it is

Not sure why 'speedway star' would write an article on Woffinden headlined " Marmite Man " if he had the support of 95 % of all British fans

Yet again nothing to back up what your saying ..i see loads of people on here who I would not regard as trolls are both be on his side and against him and it's quite clear its pretty even.as I said before no better place to get a taste of how the public are feeling than on a forum but somehow only people who don't on forums support tai thou you never asked them .T he Speedway star must really stupid to called him the marmite man if 95 % of people support him .maybe it's people who don't read the speedway star who also support him lol or maybe they got mixed up with tomato sauce pmsl Edited by orion

You think its 50/50 then you carry on thinking that.

Your way off the mark.

And as for the headline .........well thats what makes people read the article!! If you believe Tai has only 50% of support and people either love or hate him then there is no point discussing it.

And yes there are trolls on this forum .............not really a true reflection

Its pretty clear Woffinden has lost a huge chunk of support due to his anti British stance. No British league, no British championship and no British SWC. But hang on, He wouldn't mind riding on his home Polish track in the World Games for his sponsors.

This forum is typical of speedway fans throughout the country who love the sport. A wide range of fans with varying thoughts political, financially and in speedway. A large chunk have now had enough of Woffinden.

What does he bring to the sport in this country? Absolutely nothing. Marmite man? I like marmite. calling Woffinden Marmite man is disrespecting marmite.

Guess if he thinks about it he could ring up Marmite for sponsorship. And do another needless losers lap of honor at Cardiff next British GP.
