Big Al
It would've went ahead had it not been for injuries. They are not going to make the play offs so will have to fill September with some meetings. And neither are Rye House so there should be no problem for getting a Cov team sorted. Can even include KK now he's been sacked by Poole.
Fundinfan
Absolutely throwing it down in Uttoxeter so good news that it's off tonight. Let's hope that September will bring forth the cancelled challenges at Rye House and Leicester plus others if possible. We need to keep the Bees name prominent in the speedway world and for hopes of a track return of some kind next season
Woz01
Bees name Nicholls, Schlein, Howarth, Roynon and Jacobs for the meeting now on Sept 17th
mdmc82
Pleased with the riders announced. The team already has a good Coventry feel to it 🐝
Woz01
Kenneth Hansen has announced he will be in the Bees line up on Sunday.
Woz01
Colin Pratt and Peter Oakes manage the Bees side.
hyabb17
I hope many Cov fans make the trip at the weekend. Hopefully see you back in the top flight at some point.

stevethelion
Hans Andersen riding for the Bees, looks like a pretty strong line-up for them.
Gemini
Blimey that Coventry team looks pretty strong so hopefully Lions will get a good guest for the missing Pole. Incidentally it looks at the moment as if there is no extra charge for the British Youth Championship that follows this match which is just as well because there may be problems with the 4 hour limit in the car park. jrs
I only found out the date of the re-arranged match by accident. It might be helpful to some people if the thread title was amended to the new date. I'm not a facebooker or tweeter so being an old dodderer I hadn't heard about the new date. Every extra bum on a seat is important (tried to find an emoticon of a big backside, but no luck)
Woz01
Strong line up for the Bees. Looking forward to this and seeing a few hundred Bees fans making the trip.
flagrag
A very godd and I may say too strong lineup for Coventry especially if Leicester go with RR for Pawel. I do hope that it doesnt spoil it by making it too one sided but the main thing is to see Coventry back on track.
mdmc82
Good Coventry line up. Not a fan of Hans but don't mind him winning when riding for us lol. Great work by all of those involved in getting this meeting staged. 👍🏼🐝

Not seen the Lions side, but it's the German Individual Championship on Sunday, so presumably Erik Riss will be riding in that.
flagrag
The lack of updates from Leicester on their team is quite worrying, As already have RR and no Riss and it looks like no Josh Bates as well as still recovering from an accident at home. Gemini
Disappointing not to have any team news yet, especially when the Coventry team looks pretty strong. Hope this isn't going to fizzle out again.
Woz01
Disappointing not to have any team news yet, especially when the Coventry team looks pretty strong. Hope this isn't going to fizzle out again. I doubt it, Leicester have been putting quite a bit about this meeting on Twitter and website. Not the team news however. Jacques
What's the deal with challenge matches. Are their riders contractually obliged to ride?
