Daniel Smith
No Ayres on Thursday for the Stars. Simon Lambert instead. That's a swift turnaround as Simon's return was meant to be for Peterborough this week only. Maybe Ayres performance last night rattled the management a little. Is he at Poole tomorrow too then? Bagpuss
Why on earth would the management be 'rattled' by Ayres last night?

mrss
Won't be there. Hoping for a Stars win on Thursday. Can't afford anymore slip ups at home if we want to be in the playoffs.

Maybe Ayres performance last night rattled the management a little. Is he at Poole tomorrow too then? Why would the management be rattled by a 3pt rider getting his 3pt average last night. Maybe Ayres would have been riding Thursday, but as his Championship side race at home Thursday's i guess he has to be riding for them

waytogo28
Joking aside, I think you're being a bit premature here mate. Probably Poole existed then , but Kings Lynn definitely didn't. Maury Littlechild and Cyril Crane, started work on the track back in 1964, with the first meeting in 1965 won by the impressive Terry Betts . Started league racing the following year. Of course I did slip up there as my post was about my 1961 team of Norwich Stars V the Pirates as a dream of better races ( or more of them per match ) in the dinosaur past we are not speedway wise PC supposed to mention! foreverblue
Its better when the sugar is stirred into Brandy or Scotch. I think i could do with a scotch after last nights result but tonight we could have some luck maybe a couple of breakdowns for the stars could help. semion
IF KK turns up tonight with his gating gloves/head/engine then things could get quite interesting for The Stars. The track has been a trappers paradise all season and KK is well known for being a trapper. I would say if he does gate no one will get past him. Looking forward to seeing Holder the Younger at Saddlebow and Starke. Anderson should be good for 10 plus. For Lynn is this the 2nd half of the season Holder about to take centre stage ? Will Lambo really be fit enough to come back, I seem to remember when he comes back from injury it takes him a few meeting to get back up to speed. Robert is still carrying the wrist injury so question mark there as well. batch, well who knows which one of his heads will he turn up with in place ? Huck and Rose will be steady. TJ slowly getting use to the track at Lynn. All makes for an interesting night. Are we now passed the time of year for sun delays ??
Steve Shovlar
52-40ish. The current Poole team is not strong enough to give Kings Lynn a scare, even with r/r for Klindt.

My thoughts are similar, I was thinking around the 50 - 40 mark plus Tactical ride... plenty in hand to secure those 3pts... The way things are, if Poole can get a point , they ill deserve it....
