Poole Pirates Vs Kings Lynn Stars 12/07/17

Recommended Posts

As soon as Jorgensen won Heat 1 i knew we would be in for a long night.

Jorgensen shouldnt be getting 3 points in the entire meeting let alone in 1 race around Poole

You are a pillock sir.the problem with fans with tinted glasses, they only see riders from the

same division as their team.Thomas Jorgensen has waited several years for a promotion to give him a

chance in the top tier.

Bit harsh on Jorgensen. As surprised as you in heat one,i would expect more than 3 points a meeting from him.I think your hurting tonight...

Glug Glug Glug ...should be plenty of room in the stands now all the plastics have gone .Fords wallet looks like it has finally run out and the days of buying titles have gone .could not have happened to a nicer guy.

Another disaster home loss why is Klindt still in the team? Kurtz is a massive loss, expected more from KK, i dont think Matt Ford has given up but changes need to be made and quickly before its too late

Klindt's ACL wont be a prob out of the starts but will after that.If its his right leg ??,he shouldn't be anywhere near a bike.

Well we are truly injury ravaged at the moment so the opposition will certainly fill their boots. Klindt is not fit suprised he is back to be honest. Perhaps there's just no one out there to replace him at the moment.

Losing our top scorer in Brady is a disaster. Normally we would see off Kings Lynn without too much fuss but the way the season has gone with injuries we are there for the taking at the moment. With the returning KK, the walking wounded Klindt and r/r for our big hitter, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to deduct we are in crap creek without a paddle.

Well people do need to understand that I actually do know what I am talking about regarding Poole. I wrote the above before the announcement if Richie Worrall as a 28 day injury replacement. Other than that I was spot on, as I expected to be.

Arse covering? No just knowing my team.

First of all well done to Kings Lynn. They can only beat the team put in front of them and tonights Poole team was the weakest 1-7 I have seen since 2009. The result was no suprise at all. Out of our group, only 2 fancied our chances. The rest of us expected us to lose. It was all too easy for Kings Lynn.

If Brady had been fit to ride we would probably have got home but Richie W is certainly no replacement for Kurtz. Can't fault his efforts though.

For Kings Lynn.

Batchelor did as I expected with a couple of wins.

Jorgensen did well. Two good rides.

Huckenback ditto.

Lambert was solid. Fell asleep in heat 15 when a third would have got KL an extra point. Woke up too late and missed catching Jack by half a bike.

Holder as expected came fired up and rode well.

Rose was very solid.

Ayres was out of his depth.

For Poole.

Taxi for KK. Not interested. In the slightest. Poodled around at the back in his first two before gating and realising he was leading down the back straight. Soon fixed that though by allowing Lambert to come around him. Then in heat 13 gated again and realising sticking the brakes on again decided to stay safe and clear off. Was not chosen for heat 15. Surely it would be easier just to tell Matt Ford he doesn't want to ride here?

Holder battled for every point. Can't fault his effort.

Taxi for Klindt! Two words sum up his riding tonight. Bottle job. Gated, a rider got close and he moved out of the way. Not only is he clearly unfit, but he has lost his nerve and we all witnessed it. Sorry Nicolai, time to call it a day. At least for his season. If you lose your bottle when riders get close, you are a danger not only to yourself but others as well.

Worrall did what was expected, but he is not of the same standard of the rider he is covering for, therefore we are stuffed here until Bradys return. Not Worralls fault. But he needs to score double figures at home at least to cover and that isn't going to happen.

Hans did his job. Had a great race with Holder in heat 13.

Starke tried his heart out. Can't fault his efforts.

Same with Shanes who saw off his rival number 7.

Poole really were there for the taking and unless 2 changes are made and Brady returns, we won't make the playoffs this season. But even if we did make top 4, we would be the whipping boys for Wolves or Belle Vue.

As for the track, much improved on the Belle Vue meeting.

Again well done to Kings Lynn. Three easy points for them tomorrow night.

Lovely jubbly. But don't bet against Poole turning the tables tomorrow night.

Don't forget the Stars should have Simon Lambert back tomorrow, and on his last match before getting injured, he scored 7+2 at Saddlebow Rd against Swindon, that could make a big difference. Also Batchelor and Lambert will score more at home than at Poole. I'm going for a good Stars victory.

The current Poole lineup won't get close to 40 points at Lynn.
