LisaColette
Troy is awful at Poole? Gavan what are you on about? We have used Troy as a guest in the playoffs a few times and was good for 7-10 points. He is similar to Kennett that performs at Poole better when guesting in the home team rather than being in the away one.
foreverblue
To be fair Batchelor is awful at Poole ...........we all know he doesnt like bumpy tracks.  Lambert is so so Huckenbeck and Rose have been poor on both visits. Holder we know hates the place. And in the reserve berth Poole have massive advantage. Should be a stroll by 15-20 for Poole tonight Looking at the match ups  As awful as KK has been he should outscore Troy on a track Troy hates and never does well on Jack Holder will easily outscore Jorgensen Klindt even half fit will outscore Kai who again has never done well at Poole Lambert should outscore Worrall Hans will probably outscore Holder Starke will easily outscore Rose Shanes and Ayres will be fairly even.  I cant see anyway in the world That Kings Lynn will get anything tonight........hope im wrong Troy has had some good meetings at Poole, once when he guested for us against Wolves I seem to recall him being a match winner after he won heat 15 to clinch it. KK has had some good scores in Poland since his return from injury so there is hope. Jack Holder has been going well lately so should be able to beat Jorgensen without a problem. Not sure about Klindt, if he is on last meetings form then I can see Kai beating him, Huckenbeck is a decent rider. Lambert usually goes well at Poole so he should have no problem beating Worrall. Hans has been good all season and has ridden well since his injury so I expect he should be C.Holder, may depend who gates best. The way Starke is going he should be a real bonus for us and can take a Klindt ride if needed. Unfortunately I can see Ayres beating Shanes, despite what some have said I thought Ayres rode pretty well at Wolves for a 3 point rider although he it is his last meeting for Kings Lynn. tellboy
It's not Ayres last meeting for Lynn,he is meant to be sharing the number 7 spot with Lambert.
Daniel Smith
You can't never compare a meeting on a 1v1 basis as there's 4 rider's in a race  1. KK-JH v TB-TJ (5-1)2. PS-JS v LR-DA (4-2)3. NK-RW v KH-RL (2-4)4. HA-JS v CH-DA (4-2)5. NK-RW v TB-TJ (2-4)6. KK-JH v CH-LR (4-2)7. HA-PS v KH-RL (4-2)8. JH-JS v TJ-DA (5-1)9. NK-RW v CH-LR (2-7)10. KK-JH v KH-RL (5-1)11. HA-PS v TB-TJ (4-2)12. NK-JS(PS) v KH-LR (1-5)13. KK-HA v TB-CH (3-3)14. RW-PS v RL-DA(LR) (4-2)15. KK-JH v CH-RL (5-1)  54-
hagonshocker
Â Some of us were more than happy to have Lawson at Somerset. Like you say, he's been a revelation too. Wasn't particularly referring to Somerset fans should had made that clear!

Ok well ive gone back over the archives and these are the play off matches where he has ridden for Poole  2014 Batchelor 6+1 from 4 rides v Coventry (play off final riding at number one. 2 wins (beating Hansen , Fricke and Harris and 2 lasts) 2014 Batchelor 4 + 1 from 4 rides v Kings Lynn (play off semi final) riding at number one. 4 third places  2016 riding for Lynn:  1 from 3 rides 4 from 4 rides  2015 riding for Swindon:  6 from 4 5 from 4  If i have missed any meetings then i hold my hands up.  To me Troy Batchelor has a shocking record at Poole  Cant see how you can say he is good for 7-10 points!! Gavan
Maybe because he is in great form this year! Oh, and maybe because Poole appear to be weaker this year True ..but the facts are that he is poor at Poole. In heat one he is up against KK and Holder. he could easily be on the end of a 5-1 in that and his night may well go downhill from there  He could go well of course he could.  I was merely answering Lisa who couldnt understand why i said he was awful at Poole and just used some facts to back up my case Edited July 12, 2017 by Gavan
SteveLyric2
Thanks for all the definitive scorelines for this evening - I guess there's no point me going now?! ;-) Â NB. Ayres 'rode' for Leicester at Poole 3 weeks ago and could hardly stay on the bike, scoring a big fat zero. Â Shanes scoring 2 or 3 points this evening could well be the difference between the 2 teams! I expect someone will no doubt tell me!! Â On paper Poole should win easily looking at how the Lynn riders go at Poole......but speedway isnt like that as we know

foreverblue
I think James as been doing all right at poole in recent meetings no reason it won't still continue tonight Yes your right, I really like him and has had a good first season. Shame that Newman couldn't have been kept and Starke has been a good signing personally would have liked to have both of them in the team. Steve Shovlar
Bjarne Pedersen is here in the pits with Matt. Spoke to Nicolai. Says he is feeling much better. Soon find out. Wished Richie Worral good luck. We will need him to start well and have a good meeting.
