Ipswich V Scunthorpe Ch 6-7-17@7-30pm

Recommended Posts

Nothing to report on this from what has already been said .

Scunny didn't look interested apart from Aarnio.

MPT had his usual trip to the 4th bend air fence .

Wilko must of fancied a dirt bath on more than one occasion.

Kerr never looked on the pace same pretty much as Auty.

Douglas nice to see didn't suffer any bad luck this time around from his foxhall hoodoo.

Bailey nice win heat 2 .

Witches just too good at home for a side like Scunthorpe.

Ok meeting couple of passes and another 3 points that is what matters tbh

Sure you can Siggy, it was a tongue in cheek comment because everyone was going on about the weather when it was clear as day good weather (despite some earlier reports) if it was grey clouds and iffy or nobody was talking weather commments then I wouldn't have said anything.

Very few fans on this unofficial forum, no members missing because of one comment, not one person did not attend because of my comment and 99% of people who probably read it are in ipswich and can look at the sky themselves or look at other sources

Have to confess very disappointed with Scunny tonight, expected more from a full team this time around but nothing was forthcoming.

Not much to say about the meeting either apart from a very convincing home win as most predicted.

Sheffield should be more of a challenge next week.

Congratulations on an easy win for Ipswich, poor showing by Scunny with only Bailey winning a race and Aarnio best rider for double points, Scunny are obviously lacking a genuine no 1 rider who can go out and beat the top opponent riders on a regular basis which in turn would give the rest of the team more confidence, Wilkinson with his experience should be scoring double figures at reserve but in all honesty has probably been given a stay of execution now that Stefan Nielsen has been ruled out for the season, on Scunny's form at the moment doesn't augur well for the match against Newcastle tonight(Friday)who could win for the first time at the EWR. Feck it.

Can't under why you wrote this.

This fan is a promoters nightmare. Irresponsible chat and usually harmful to the sport.

Tsunami - the people talking re Weather are the same people who turned up, who live nearer the stadium than I do who have the sense and ability to look up at the sky and not judge one comment on here.

A promoters nightmare? Promoters are a nightmare to themselves as they've all played their part running the sport into the ground, my post had zero effect on the attendance, in fact poor promotion is the reason why numbers at foxhall has fallen.

Maybe next time through admission I will use the following face 😂😂😂😂 just to make it crystal clear I was joking.

Yes, the smillies would have helped. Without them the statement is still stupid and irresponsible though. How do you know or think that you post had zero affect on the gate. Personally absolving yourself ?

Because the people talking about weather etc are the people who were there on the night, the ones who did not show up didn't go for non weather related reasons.

If someone would have said "is it really raining" I would have replied no! A slight over reaction I think to my comment

It was clear as day from checking the sky outside or updated forecasts from 3pm onwards would have seen the weather was glorious, anyone who is too lazy or ignorant to check for themselves and rely on info from a stranger is a bit stupid

But if the promotion want to blame me for a poor turnout then let them do it rather than look on their own doorstep.

Witches announced a big promotion with the local football team "look out for the banner" etc I can't even read it and my eye sight is about the same as someone 65+

I've always had a huge amount of respect for chris louis but what happened and what was said and how it was done was absolutely piss poor on Thursday night and done to someone who potentially could bring in £££'s to the club
