Lewis Bridger Fine?

Recommended Posts

So Woffinden will be getting fined for being one on Saturday night then , ? Naaahhh no need to bother , his ex fans and the result more than put him in his place ,,

Woffinden is not an SCB registered rider, so the SCB have no power to fine him, just as they'd have no power to fine me, you or any other spectator for being a nobhead on social media.

Bridger is an SCB registered rider, and when he applied for his licence and permit there are reminders on there about the misuse of social media.

If one of my employees went slagging off my company on social media (the company that pays his wages) I would be taking disciplinary action too. The SCB don't clamp down enough on this sort of thing, so well done to them here.

Just looked on Woffinden's twitter and I can't see anything inappropriate.

All the best

Rob

probably removed it , I would have ,

I believe a 'bunch of monkeys' have just issued Lewis with a £300 fine for 'deformation of character'...

have they ? new legal precedent set then .

Wrong

His response about his house and family was the end of the barrage of abuse he received form that 1 guy who was slating his wife and unborn baby. In my mind the bloke got all he deserved.

If he had any class or dignity he would not have engaged with him. No excuse for that, its obviously his level...

If Tai is simply defending himself as you say why is there a need to delete these tweets

Presumably he tweeted in the heat of the moment - realised he had made a mistake and deleted them.

We can all lose our tempers and say things we don't mean.

He showed sound common sense in deleting them.

He engaged with a vast number of people on Twitter on Saturday night...........99% of it was all good

The 2 people he got engaged with that got nasty actually were being nice at the beginning and then turned on him...........as trolls do.

He simply defended his family.......nothing wrong in that

There IS something wrong with that, he played along as much as those who weren't 100% complimentary did and then reduced himself to a low level. I can fully understand him not riding in the Premiership but I can't understand why he won't ride for GB or in the national championship. Surely he would exert more influence from inside than by staying away? It all comes across as a personal dislike of Rosco, there may be other riders who wouldn't choose him as a personal friend but they haven't been so petty about things as Tai has. It's good that we have a rider at the top level but he certainly seems to make hard work of getting the supporters behind him (with the exception of the 'nodding dogs' for whom the great one can do no wrong).

Whilst that is very true, its plain common sense to block trolls when its clearly someone baiting, rather than engaging on their repulsive level. Just my opinion...
