Grachan
There isn't exactly an option which jumps out, so I think it makes sense to wait - especially if Jason is going to be missed for a while. It will also be interesting to see how Gappmaier goes in the team, as for me he has the most potential out of our bottom four. You might make a reassessment of that if you see his most recent match at Berwick on updates. Includes the comment "Gappmaier tailed off well at the back". And that's in division 2. Adam is the man in the bottom of the side for me. Clearly needed to hold back on his scoring in our last home match. He's ready to go, I reckon. As you say, though, no point in just signing someone for the sake of it. After the way we rode against Rye House, a full strength side may well have beaten Wolves tonight. The side we have out, however, has no chance, but that's just bad luck with injuries.
stevebrum
I don't blame Nick or Swindon in trying to have him passed fit although I can't see the bspa allowing it. The rule is set. There is no way any club in any league or country should be 'allowed' to even contest it. Edited June 29, 2017 by stevebrum
hagonshocker
Sorry I don't even think a full 'strength' side would beat Wolves tonight I tend to think Rye were very poor against us
racers and royals
Someone should arrange a meeting, maybe on an annual basis, where promoters can come together and agree the rules for the upcoming season. That would surely stop individuals feeling as if they are being victimised by unfavourable rules. They would have to make it teetotal !!!!! stevebrum
Who diagnosed that he was suffering from concussion? A doctor I'd imagine. If he was knocked out at the scene then it's concussion.
Gresham
This is the sort of match that will kill speedway off in this country. Not only because Swindon are very much weakened by absences whereas Wolves are strengthened by them, but also this is the third match running where Troy Bachelor is riding at Blunsdon and for the third different team. It is very hard to explain that to casual supporters. The better option is not to take them to this one. Danny King for Kyle Howarth? How does that work? Has King been particularly bad this year or has Howarth been particularly good? Totally agree...there is going to come a point, where a rider will have ridden for every team in the league as a guest, at some point...if it's not happened already. Speedway does need to find a way of stopping this. I'm all for just watching the racing...but even for me this is taking the biscuit. I was going to go to this meeting...but will talking with my feet and taking my hard earned elsewhere.
A ORLOV
No Morris or Gappmaier. Brady Kurtz and R/R instead. That is a bit of luck that Dany is ill and we now have Brady for Nick and r/r for Dany. We might now win this one if Troy and Brady find the track to their liking and if Adam ups his game. Great work from the Mighty Rosco Get well soon Dany Well done to Rosco, you have to feel for Dany, being ill when Nick can't ride. Matt Ford would be proud!

Crazy robin
Jason, Nick, Dany, Brady, Troy or R/R & I'd still be thinking a Wolves win. Have lost all enthusiasm for this season as no ambition from Rosco in not sourcing new riders & now dodgy illnesses. If this was Poole we'd all be furious so because it's Swindon it still stinks. Agreed...I know fans are now walking with there feet instead of just putting up with it. There came a time when some supporters went regardless, as they felt they needed to support the Club for fear of them folding, especially in the current climate. However...it feels like we are watching the same old riders, riding for different teams, week in week out. The sooner we go to one big league and a 'Development' league the better imo. If it means dropping the level again....so be it...but there isn't much difference now tbh. Just fed up watching the same riders all the time.
sandking072
Luckily Brady Kurtz just happened to be available to guest in place of Morris. What are the chances? Is this meeting taking place at the new stadium or are still at the old one?

No dodgy illness - I have it on good authority (OK I've made it up) that Dany was round Rosco's last night for tea and he came down with a severe stomach bug afterwards - although everyone else in the Rossiter household is absolutely fine
