stevebrum
Well done Plymouth.....best team on the night! What was Tom Bacon playing at? Adam Roynon was brilliant and was a pleasure to watch! Liam Carr was awesome in the last heat! Track was perfect.....a few prem clubs should take a few lessons off our track staff! Tom shared a picture of a crack in the back end. Although no idea why he had to smash thru the tapes twice. New shale was put down last night too. I see from the SGB Website that Birmingham's David Morton misses the second leg at Plymouth because of "...a prior commitment..." Not the same one that caused him to pull out of an open meeting at the same track a couple of weeks ago is it? Do you mean Mason?
Guest GiveusaB
Yes R/R for Mason and Keane Dicken riding at reserve ? Dont think we're taking this one too seriously?
ProudtobeaBrummie
crowd was woeful although season tickets had to pay yesterday i know it put a few off .. Carr was magic for Birmingham splitting the devils big 2 in ht 13 and winning ht 15 . chuffed he got a premier ride back again i think pboro have a bargain there .. Its all a bit too much for JPB at number 1 and captain im afraid at the moment but hopefully he learns from it.. You Cant help but be pleased for Royno who was excellent last night hopefully he can stay fit and get a prem ride back again..

Heathen1984
Its a disgrace how brummies fans av to pay who av season tickets, dont deserve anyone there if u treat your loyal fans like that.

I think that is par for the course. I know Workington let season ticket holders in on Saturday for nothing even though they would usually pay. Did they get in free for the original fixture?

ancient mariner
Its a disgrace how brummies fans av to pay who av season tickets, dont deserve anyone there if u treat your loyal fans like that. Par for the course as HT suggests above (Good Morning to you, HT) I would imagine that the first round of the KO Cup would be included in the season ticket, but unless the promotion's crystal ball is working rather well, how could they be expected to know what further progress the Brummies were going to make in the competition? Edited to echo the 'BZ' to Workington for their generous gesture Edited June 29, 2017 by ancient mariner
Fromafar
Agree on both counts! Adam is far too good for the NL.....someone will sign him if he keeps producing this sort of form! Hampshire is definitely one for the future...... Atkins of Plymouth looks a great prospect too ! Roynan is just taking easy money out the sport. How many teams have dropped him!! topsoil
After the injuries he's suffered and the enthusiasm he still has for the sport, I wouldn't deny him anything.
Guest GiveusaB
Roynan is just taking easy money out the sport. How many teams have dropped him!! Easy? The way he rode last night, he certainly wasnt making easy money? He rode the tyres off his bike !!! Hope he continues to make 'easy' money !!! Well said...'topsoil' ! Fair enough but he is probably riding for " over the top" points money giving the supposed nature of the league.Could the clubs pay all their riders the same rate. Not sure what your point is ? Wont be long before a championship club snap him up based on last nights display? Just hope he stays injury free ! Good luck Adam ! ProudtobeaBrummie
Could not agree with topsoil and giveusab anymore.. Good luck to the young man he deserves it and yes hopefully he can step up a league again and start scoring.. If i get to see Royno a couple of times this season while he gets hes confidence back you wont hear me complaining... Same as if Sarg needs to do it at some point this season..
kitten2502
crowd was woeful although season tickets had to pay yesterday i know it put a few off ... That is incorrect - season ticket holders did not have to pay to get in last night.
ProudtobeaBrummie
In fact i am annoyed about this a little Adam is a great lad whos had such bad luck. Almost 10 years ago he rode for Birmingham and he was possibly the next big thing.. He has since broke almost every bone is hes body had endless injures and as many a Brummies fan will remember one of the last times we seen him was Coventry away where the ambulance he was in was rushed away escorted by 2 police cars on the track.. So if he gets 5 pound a point more than other riders i dont particularly care .... That is incorrect - season ticket holders did not have to pay to get in last night. My Bad sorry
Guest GiveusaB
I ask the question, why didnt someone from the Brummies commercial team, make it clear to fans about their free entrance? They could've put a post on the BSF site and our own forum? Bad PR imo.....
the hobbit
The club FORGOT to remind people via the official website and twitter feeds that season tickets didn't cover last nights meeting. As a result, it was decided that they had no choice but to let season ticket holders in without paying. I have no doubt that the fact that people thought they had got to pay, combined with the poor weather, contributed to a sparse looking crowd. Still feel that season ticket holders were shafted at the end of last season and that like me, many people haven't forgotten nor forgiven the club.
