Beowulf
For those concerned that there isn't a thread. Wolves win and progress to next round. End of story. I am, though, looking forward to seeing Lambert ride, always a treat.

waytogo28
It shouldn't be too difficult for the Stars to pull those points back and win the tie by 2 points. We all know that they are better away, than at home this season. The big question is will it be Michael Lee or Ove Fundin guesting for the Stars. Terry Betts sadly had to decline the booking, I was reliably informed.

Woz01
Lambert was the only Stars rider that turned up for the League meeting at Wolves. This has a hammering written all over it.

Beowulf
Not really apparently when the rider has posted updates on social media about it! Don't assume that everybody wants to be on social media. In fact I have made a clear and conscious decision not to be on Facebook or similar media. Mimmo
Don't assume that everybody wants to be on social media. In fact I have made a clear and conscious decision not to be on Facebook or similar media. Unfortunately everybody seems to make this assumption, yet there are a great many older people, including myself, that don't dabble in social media, apart from in my case Facebook. I don't have a mobile phone, other than the sort you can make a call or text on (Pay as you go). I wouldn't have a clue how to use Twitter or Instagram, nor to be honest do I want to know. You've only got to watch people in the streets, public places (i.e. theatres, sports arena's etc), public transport, passengers in cars (sometimes drivers), it's taken over their lives, and they don't seem to speak to anybody anymore. I bet half of them don't even know who their next door neighbour is.
LisaColette
You can go on social media without letting it take over your life. It is good for speedway news and twitter is good for meeting heat updates (esp if out and only have a phone handy!)

Bagpuss
Not saying Wolves were busting a gut necessarily but that's an encouraging display against arguably the best team in the league on the track least suited to our skills. Hopefully they can take that into Wednesday at Belle Vue.
Steve Shovlar
See Chris is still showing his Monmore form. Decent performance by Kings Lynn.
