Newcastle V Workington Championship Ko Cup 2nd Leg Sunday June 25

Recommended Posts

The second of two meetings today, with the aggregate winner moving onto the next round

It's vital Diamonds pick up as many points from Derwent Park as possible to give themselves a chance for progress

Newcastle will have Stevie Worrall back, and hopefully able to cope with the tight bends. I repeat what I said last week, but didn't get that is a big improvement from Ludvig, Ashley and Lewis.

Track specialist Craig Cook should be well in double figures, his races with Robert could be classics.

A busy day for riders and supporters, let's hope everyone comes through unscathed.

The good news I hear is that Ludde has binned the GTR's so he's back to GM's I presume. Let's hope it improves his scoring as we need his points. plus a few more from Ashley riding against his previous track and Lewis. Still think it could be tight but only if we get the needed improvement in scoring from the above three.

only 16 points to claw back for the demonds .

as long as swaggerman stays at the back doing wheelies . worky will be ok !

Sure he'll be a completely different riders at his home track... Or is riding in southern France until very late last night and then coming to ride twice in the north of England catching up with him? Busy busy boy...

Just as a matter of interest, how many points could be deemed as "enough" for Workington to stand a reasonable chance of winning against anyone, anywhere on aggregate?

Cant believe they have bombed this match from such a commanding position, very very disappointing?

Still, the good thing is, that's two more matches we dont have to find room for, alongside the other five that are still up in the air?

A good day turned sour but, that's the Comets on the road for ya, you just never know what your gonna get, back to the league now, see what we can do in that, sometime in July I think that is? ;)
