Recommended Posts

16 points to make up in 2nd leg no chance with a no1 like cook

get some newblood in seasons over 3 out 3 in reseves again only 3 points between them the

way the team is set up the top 5 have got to score 40 between them to have any chance of winning

a meeting with the two crap reserves we have for gods sake George take the blinkers off and

make some changes for the good of the fans

It was TJ's facebook page where I seen it I dont know if Workington has put anything up

Jorgensen knocked his knee at KL last Wednesday. Comets put on Comets Unofficial this morning that he was fit to ride, he did great, lost his chain at the start in one heat though.

Hopefully 16 points will be enough, Cook a faultless 15pt max and new track record in heat 1.

Great 5-1 in heat 13, Cook and Jorgensen over Worrall and Lambert, Lambert was getting nowhere at the back so started popping Wheelies.

looking forward to lambert popping more wheelies at the back ..

all hail the swagger wheelie king ..

thats the difference between a good profesional and someone like lambert

no question the lad can ride a speedway bike but im not sure he is fully comited to go all the way

and also his attitude towards the sport is summed up by his heat 13 shomboating while getting beat

im expecting either a 15 pt max from him at newcastle or if they have a word about his showboating might be lucky to see him get 4 points after he looses his dummy

i did see it later on but for some reason the page hadnt updated on my pc at the time i posted

looks like something was blocking the site

I see the Lambert haters are out in force again. Why do we British love to knock a good sportsman when we produce one? Baffling.

not sure id class lambert as a sportsman

good sportsmen and women accept getting beat a little better than giving up and popping wheelies

just watch rob shutleworth tonight

dont expect him to be scoring many points but hell not give up

i certainly dont hate lambert

but im not one that thinks hes the gods gift either

I don't think he's God's gift either, but he is the best young rider we have produced for a good few years. You don't have to support him, that is people's own choice but why slag him off? So what if he pops a few wheelies if he's out of contention in a race? Hardly crime of the century. I assumed he acknowledged Cook after heads one and fifteen in a sporting manner?

Lambert was better today than on his other appearances at DP this season. Maybe Cook fancied the track and tried to get the record, or maybe he got it cos Lambert wasn't far behind..As for the wheelies, if a Comets engine had blown or somat he would/should have been excluded for not racing, not a good example for kids coming into the league.

He is only a kid.

yes weve seen his childish side

needs to grow up if hes to deliver on his talant otherwise hell be like many more in the sport that never show just how good they could have been

Lambert is potentially one of the best riders we will have for the next few years, but you feel he needs someone to guide him and stop him doing/saying stupid things which makes him look foolish and alienate other supporters.

Sounds like today's antics are one such example, similarly his comments at Redcar earlier in the season regarding track being unrideable. You would have liked his team manager/promoter to put him right and get comments into context unfortunately moaning George just jumped on them as a good excuse to use. Maybe he panders to Lambert's antics and comments!

Exactly, he is nineteen. I think because he has been riding for so long people forget that. We should be concentrating on all the good things he does rather than the few negative things.

did we produce him ?

He was born and raised in the UK. It's to our benefit that he was able to develop his skills in Germany before he turned 15.
