northyorksbear
If Nick was to go and see a doctor would probably be deemed fit to ride If there is a protocol in place then doctor could say what they like, it should be irrelevant
crescent girl
It may be (I don't know) that FIM have a lighter regime for concussion victims than SCB. Â Certainly Nick could not resume racing under SCB regulations until nine days after Peterboro acident.

Tsunami
He wouldnt from my experience. Are there different protocols for different grades of concussion? Or is it 9 days across the board? I know it can be increased because you can have delayed concussion, which could go over the 9 days limit. Not sure about less, but I would have thought that a very experienced Doctor examining a patient could pass him fit, but only after a physical examination. A Doctor wouldn't falsely sign him fit because of the consequences, if the rider had another crash soon after and the Doctor then would come under scrutiny.
