Cue Ball
Ostergaard looked like he was having bike issues and was easily winning his final ride when his chain went. Not trying to defend him as he was a bit crap, but not as crap as his score suggests. Anyway.... heat 15 was worth the admission alone, possibly the admission for 2 weeks! Absolutely awesome race and credit to the 4 involved for such close racing with no hint of an accident occurring. Sort of wish Holder rode for us. He's a good un
scoobydoo
I think Ulrichs bike issue is he keeps bringing it and putting it in the Peterborough team area of the pits!!
Hooky
I said Kurtz and Branford needed to step up and they did.. especially Kurtz looked a totally different rider to the last 3/4 weeks, looked much, much faster! Jack Holder is some rider, what a steal his average was at the start of this season. Haven't seen many riders go as fast as Grajczonek around Sheffield this year if not faster... I'd pay good money to see him flying round Owlerton every week. All in all happy with the result, thought it was going to be a lot closer than it was but I'm very happy with more important points for the Tigers!!
CB252
Tungate for Ostergaard and Ellis for Hall fits under the 40 limit Don't see how. Tungate has an established 2nd tier CMA of 9.09. He wouldn't carry his new 4.68 Premiership average into the 2nd tier.

He would - but it would be enhanced by the conversion, which is rumoured to be 1.2 - so around 5.

Seems mental to disregard an established 2nd tier CMA and allow someone to sign a known 2nd tier no 1 on a false average.
Mad Max
Tungate for Ostergaard and Ellis for Hall fits under the 40 limit Using the dodgy Panthers calculator again!! If you drop Ulrich & hall you could replace with a rider under 6.33 and a rider under 3.00 so not both Tungate & Ellis OR you could bring in two riders up to total of 6.92 (6.50 from Monday) I estimate Tungate will be 5.6 ish and Ellis 4.5 ish so just over 10 for the pair - Peterborough have already sneeked 3 points on rest of league, you are planning to sneek another 3!!

Tigerite
Even though we were on the wrong end of a 5-1, Heat 15 is one of the best races I have ever seen at Owlerton. Breathtaking stuff from all 4 riders.
Panthers89
http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.3108 What a heat that was! Holder and Harris scraping the fence to get past..... shame about the rest!

Holder and Harris scraping the fence to get past..... shame about the rest! Well it was ok but not jaw dropping as some posts indicated. The EoES regularly serves up those racess. I wonder who chose the gates last night? Get them the right way round when it doesn't matter Edited June 23, 2017 by Crump99
Cue Ball
Yeah, you're right, just an average, run of the mill, from the gate, kind of race
Crump99
Yeah, you're right, just an average, run of the mill, from the gate, kind of race With nothing at stake, Holder does what he does regularly on lap 1 and comfortably stays there. Harris finds himself 4th as per usual and does what he has done for all his career, never give up and rides out as wide as the dirt and air fence allows to join his partner. As I said, good but standard stuff for us. Clearly it doesn't happen too often down your way. Edited June 23, 2017 by Crump99
Tonga
To be honest Panties were lucky to have two riders able and fit to ride the next meeting after that race. Bit desperate if you ask me.

hagonshocker
I think it was borderline madness! Did my eyes deceive me or did Holder intentionally or not use the airbag to launch past both Tigers??
Lukas
I thought it was superb.

Peterborough is definitely one of the better race tracks but that's not 'standard stuff' when I have been there. Checking over the last three meetings on BSF threads and proboards there's not much to suggest that anyone else thinks that either and this chap definitely doesn't : 'Not at 5pm on a hot Sunday it isn't. It'll soon be a one line gating competition'. Edited June 23, 2017 by Halifaxtiger

He's a good un Spot on, The peterborough supporters who are slagging Ostergaard and Starke off were clearly not there, Ostergaard was clearly trying as he made the gate and was winning most races but made a slight mistake on bend 3 and was passed and also had mechanical issues in 14, Starke was trying and was very good value for his 5 points, Ive not seen any comments slagging BWD off who only won heat 8 and struggled for points in is other rides although was excellent again on the pace and trying. I Think Sheffield deserve some credit as they were excellent again, making good starts and riding good lines to defend positions. A thoroughly enjoyable meeting again at Owlerton and one of the best races ive seen in 40 years to cap it off
