Kings Lynn Stars V Belle Vue Aces 21/06/17

Is this the same buster that drives the tractor during the meeting amongst many other jobs? I don't think it has anything to do with balls and may simply be down to availability and timing.

Why not simply suggest they send a letter or email or post on the official FB page?

As you have said before, you haven't been for quite some while and gather you don't even speak. He is often seen walking around the stadium and having a chat.He was watching some of the racing from 2nd bend Wednesday.

And i stand by my comment that most people don't have the balls to talk to him. It's alright saying all this on here but when push comes to shove many people are afraid nowadays to talk face to face with people.

I seem to recall when Buster was in charge at the football club they held a fans forum. Someone asked a question of Buster that he obviously didn't like.... And his response was..... You know where the door is. JC. You were there, true or false ?

Surprise surprise gates at the Football Club went from around 800(when JC was there) to under 500 and Buster sold out. Few clues there to think about

If anybody wants to speak to Buster on a Wednesday night it would be easy enough. I'd suggest those who are most vocal on Lynn threads would get better answers and have their opinions heard by the right people if they did that rather than posting on here.

It is not a matter of "balls" as what is offered on here is feedback to the promotion ( or Buster as the owner ). Yes sometimes people are very forceful with their feedback but that is how Buster is himself. Any business that is losing customers should refrain from the idea that "if you don't like what is on offer, you know where the door is". Feedback from existing customers is given because they care or are at least interested enough to offer up their opinion. ignore it ay your peril. But if you "know" you are always right then feedback is not very important is it.

I'm more and more convinced speedway days are numbered at KL stock cars is were the money is made - my stock car friends rave about how good the track is for the cars best shale or mud track in the country I keep being told a bit like us speedway fans used to say about speedway- the track is clearly set up for cars so I think it's something we are going to have to put up with sadly - fans are drifting away for a number of reasons and once the numbers drop further it won't be viable to run .

Action is needed to get the track back to something like what it once was but clearly that isn't going to happen.

When gypsies set up on the fields at the back of my property I went to speak with their leader. They had rocked up to take in the nearby demolition derby, they love their car racing.

The point is when I came to in hospital two week later they were gone.

Speaking to people like Buster directly works so stop being keyboard warriors.

There lies the rub Haza.

1500 people for Speedway with a lot of work and effort behind the scenes, or 5,000 for Stock cars with Speedworth doing all the leg work. No brainer really.

Maybe the time is coming in the UK where Speedway will become and amateur sport, that way it will be reflective of the people who run it.

For years us Ipswich folk would head over the border assured of some brilliant racing at Saddlebow Rd. Sadly stopped that some years ago when the racing became boring, maybe it's time you lot returned the compliment, some brilliant racing at Foxhall last night.

As for Buster, he spends the winter saving clubs from extinction, then does all he can to ruin his own club in the Summer.

I'll be taking in more visits to the best track in the Championship at Peterborough

I located the exit door some time ago. There is little inclination to start searching for the entrance.

I must admit, as my trips to Lynn have got less, my visits to Mildenhall have become more frequent. Living south of Norwich I can go straight down the A11 and be there in less time than it takes me to get to Saddlebow Rd. Its a great little stadium, I take my own chair and sit in the sunshine having a lazy Sunday afternoon. I'm not a fan of small tracks preferring the wide open spaces of Kings Lynn, but as the racing at Lynn has become "gate & go" the entertainment value at Mildenhall more than makes up for it, and its cheaper. Add in the excellent chips, and the fact I'm not likely to have my bag searched or sandwiches confiscated, then for me its much better value for money.

Entertainment and value for money is what its all about, and at the moment that seems to have been forgotten at Kings Lynn. Like Starboy 118, I have located the exit and found the new entrance at West Row.

How right you are. And once the numbers that make it viable ( or sponsors do not prop it up enough ) I saw the late May stockcar event from the AFA on Premier sports ( as a filler to their speedway coverage! ) and there were definitely as many or more people on the terraces as for a well attended speedway match. So, if the track is now more suited for, cars then making it more suitable for bikes is unlikely to happen. Priorities may make it mean that the speedway will not survive ( in it's present top league form at least ). Doing "an Eastbourne" and switching to the National League may be our destiny. Or no speedway at all.

There seems little point for the BSPA to be part of finding set nights for UK speedway if there are very low ( non viable ) attendances to support it.

Yet having read most Ipswich threads this season it would seem last night was the exception rather than the rule and your racing has been just as bad.

Agreed, I made the mistake of attending a few weeks back and left at heat 10. The worst meeting I had ever seen and vowed to never waste my time or money again.

Speedway 'per se' doesn't offer enough of what the fans have always craved. Passing or close enough racing that riders prepared to have a go, might pull it off. What is on offer in the majority of cases is Gate & Go - tapes to flag processions. That's why it is in the doldrums or is it in the fatal death throes?

I can confirm the meeting of Ipswich v Workington was very good with much passing.Earlier in the season the racing was not good with a lot of falls from the away sides.I think they have made changes to the track material and reduced the clay content.I hope the rest of the season is more entertaining like the Workington meeting.

Thing is what sort of reaction are you going to get. I did this once and got a mouthful of abuse, and that's not exactly unheard of.

In addition, almost any feedback is valuable to a business so it should be taken for granted that the King's Lynn promotion actually read this and any other forum connected with their club. Any operation that ignores the views of their paying customers gets what it deserves.

True, there is some rubbish on here (and elsewhere) but its not difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Good to see you're not lost altogether. To me, its more damning if one of your fans up sticks and goes elsewhere rather than quits totally. One suggests you love speedway but not that served up by a certain club, the other says you have had enough completely.

The former is a bad reflection on a team but a good reflection on the sport.

In truth, I think I have seen 35 matches now and I haven't seen an outstanding one anywhere. Some have been good, most have been OK and one or two have been rubbish, but I don't think I have used the words 'fantastic meeting' at any point.

Buster is not known for listening to anyone's opinion, except his own. I am sure JC ( who of course was heavily involved) would confirm or otherwise from 1st hand experience. I know of one guy who went to Buster's office with some ideas/suggestions about the football Club and was promptly shown the door with a firm kick up the ass.
