JamieE
Looking forward to my first trip to Rye House, would be nice to know the teams though. Where do away fans tend to congregate? Also, do we think there's any chance of either Peterborough or Rye House moving their start time to allow fans (and presumably Bomber) to get to both meetings? Surely makes sense and a win-win for both club's (especially if weather's like today).
Panthers89
No chance in us changing our time because the EOES allocate us that time
Gemini
No chance in us changing our time because the EOES allocate us that time Good because 5pm suits me just fine and that's where I will be next Sunday.
cityrebel
Although I'm a rye regular, it will be lakeside v IOW for me next Sunday. I always prefer a league match to a challenge.
cityrebel
Meeting off according to rye house website. Rider availability, no surprise really.

Fundinfan
Poor effor and excuses from Rye House at this late stage it you expect this treatment of supporters in this so called professional sport of ours.
False dawn
I have some sympathy for Rye's point of view. However, when did Bomber sign for Peterborough? When did Eddie commit to the long track meeting? These things didn't just happen. Please, plan a replacement date.
Woz01
Leicester will be cancelled too. They've had plenty of time to get riders to fill the ones that now signed for Leicester but it is a difficult job with rider availability etc.Poor effor and excuses from Rye House at this late stage it you expect this treatment of supporters in this so called professional sport of ours.It seems Bees had a 1-7 ready to race, a coach was organised to head down there too. They might have under estimated how many Bees fans would've travelled. Rory Schlein and Ben Barker were confirmed to 'guest' for Bees and Roynon was to be asked to ride for Sarj. It would've probably been at least a couple of hundred Bees fans to be honest.

Quite simply they didnt think they would entice enough fans to make it pay. Cant blame them for that
G the Bee
Can't say I blame them. Why would Rye fans turn out to watch a meaningless challenge with their top riders missing against a team they have no affinity with? And if as many Bees fans travel to Rye as travelled to Poole, they won't be packing the terraces with away fans. Unfortunately, once the early season challenges were done, this was always going to happen. I'm afraid the ship left port in March and we were left waving at the dockside.

Cant blame them for that I don't blame them for cancelling but it shouldve been much earlier, the issues that forced their hand were know a few weeks back. Fans have made an effort the last few weeks to help others get to Rye House.
Shadders
Why would the Rye House promotion run a challenge meeting with two of the top 3 missing? Would've probably made a loss on the night. Disappointing for the few Coventry supporters that had planned to travel, but best to vent your anger at the people who killed your club.
