Baldyman
Can only see positives from this meeting, maybe the riders might have learnt how to stay on bikes next time. We always throw a howler in during the season, let's hope that was the one. Although that's not really what I want to say, it's all swear words . TheScotsman
I see we have signed Theo Pijper as an injury replacement for poor Mark. Â Very sensible move - R/R would have hurt us away from home. Â It's subject to BSPA approval obviously and presumably if it's allowed then it will be sent on to Mr. Vatcher to get him to reject it and award full points to everyone else. Â Theo (and Matty Wethers and Joe Jacobs) have been incredibly unlucky to have been dumped out of this year's teams by the hairbrained regulations they brought in this season. Â Â (By the way is James Shanes going to be a permanent 2 point guest for the rest of the season? Complete joke.)
Bagpuss
There are so many team spots, inevitable that some riders will be left by the wayside. Feel for Jacobs though as a Brit. Â Agree about Shanes, needs giving an average as anybody who uses him as a guest at seven starts with a big advantage. Â The Vatcher thing is very childish though. Both Matty Wethers and Joe Jacobs rode at Kevin Doolan's testimonial last night and would both do a job for somebody I reckon

What are the rules regarding unattached guests and averages? I thought if home / away guest it counts as one of his 4h / 4a and an average would be calculated then? But I could be very very wrong?
