Monarchs V Ippo

Recommended Posts

Can you believe that there really are 7 signed riders lining up against 7 signed riders tonight!!

Is this the first fixture anywhere that it's happened this season?

Well done to the Monarchs and Ippo.

No guests / no NL guests / no R/R, just a regular 7 against a regular 7.

Just hope and pray there is no need for any IR/R tonight.

And maybe even Capn Jack Hawkins will put in an appearance as team manager for Ippo!!

Should be a helluva night's racing between the best 2 teams in the league.

Haven't got a clue who will win - there's a case for both sides.

But I just hope it's our good guys!!

I remember we used to have Speedway in Glasgow.... loved it. Good to see the Monarchs are still going.

Home win JUST denying Ippo a point.

Speedway in Glasgow that was a while ago remember them fondly.

When will we see those again.

Surprised its proper 7 v 7 how many double up?

Apart from Newman (Ippo) & Pickering (Edin), I reckon the remaining twelve also d/up/down with a PL or NL club.

IIRC it's Masters, Mark Riss, Rory Schlein, Nathan Greaves (all Wolves). King, Erik Riss (Leicester), Wells (Rye House), Sedgmen (BV), Heeps (Somerset), Mountain (Mildenhall), Clegg (Buxton), Davey (Stoke)

I believe however that the CL clubs always have priority over their NL counterparts whenever there is a fixture clash.
