boomerang
must be watching different meetings lambert and worral are both good gaters None of the Diamonds can gate... At least Ludvig has the guts to make a pass... Unlike Matej... Who just kinda sits behind and is happy to take whatever position he has

szkocjasid
Total waste of time changing coles for greenwood! Should of stuck with coles TO me they had to try someone to replace Coles! Greenwood did at least win heat 2 on Sunday!

DiamondGlory
Yes he did well in heat 2 but the problem is the top 5 mainly 2, 3, and 4.
Big Diamond
mainly 2, 3, and 4. Think Ashley fine as number 2 its a hard position and he improved his average this season and we wont get better on that average. But i agree about 3 and 4 its a shocking partnership conceding 5-1 from gate more often than not recently.
ruffdiamond
mainly 2, 3, and 4. Ashley and Lewis have increased their averages by coming from reserve into the main body, which is all good,,, whereas Ludvig has just about maintained his, so it does look like Ashley and Lewis are improving, but Ludvig not but at the minute, he is still better than them

Hasn't really improved for a few seasons. If you want a reliable 7 point man, Ludvig is your man, if you want a rider who's going to improve to an 8/9 point rider, I don't think Ludde is your man.

Hopefully he can kick on at Newcastle.
TCX
Lindgren and Kus - no contest in my eyes. I like Matej but his riding style is one-dimensional. Ludde can be a sharp gater when he's on his game, he can pass, he looks out for his partner* and he always tries hard. He's the last of the seven I would dispense with. Turning to the reserves, is this Dan "the Hsmmer" Greenwood who graced Brough Park a few years ago? * although not as well as Andrew Tully, of course I have seen Lingren team ride once in his time at Newcastle. If he is in front he isn't one bit bothered about his team mate. Which team Captain comes in after a race jumps of the bike and heads strait around the back of the pits I don't care if your having a bad meeting yes it happens but your team captain so act like one when the going gets tough don't hide !!!!!!. TCX
I respect lindgren as a rider I know the sport is tough but I really think he is terrible away from home and as for a captain a very rarely see him helping riders in the pits i.e. Conner when he has been struggling. In my eyes a captain is a leader somebody that galvanises a team and stands out!! I don't see that in lindgren. Totally agree with you a captain should rally round the lads even when things are not going his way lead by example. Stuart Robson, Mark Lemmon just an example would always be seen helping the younger lads in the team or riders that were not going well. Lingren doesn't do this I think its time for Lingren to move on I think it will do him good a fresh challenge.

That's why I said 2, 3, and 4. I do agree though, Rose and Morria are improving slightly. Edited June 20, 2017 by DiamondGlory
diamond@heart
Interesting to see the scores from IOW v Kent last night. Connor got 3,3,3,R and Hopwood 2,1,2,3,F. They met in Heat 7 with Connor taking the win with Hopwood in third. Clearly Connor has regained some of his confidence back and looks to be riding well, maybe he just never got used to Brough or the Championship. Good on the lad, I still think we should have stuck with him as I don't think he is any different to Greenwood, but then I am also not sure whether he requested the move?

Dandelion
He couldn't stay on the bike, man. Yep, and I see Dan Greenwood doing a lot better than Connor... He won his first race back (at home) where Connor hadn't even come close to winning a race so far this season...
