Kings Lynn V Wolves Koc 14th June

Recommended Posts

Teams from the Wolves web-site:-

1. Holder

2. Rose

3. Porsing

4. Batchelor

5. Lambert

6. Wilkinson (guest)

7. Knight (guest)

1. Lindgren

2. Howarth

3. Schlein

4. Thorssell

5. Masters

6. Riss

7. Greaves

I think this will be close over two legs, we can forget the earlier Stars match at Monmore. It should help us that the Stars have guests at reserve, but it appears that Greaves is short of equipment and someone was collecting money for him on Monday night. He was in some good point scoring positions but got passed and ended up scoreless. The return of Schlein should add some spice to the proceeding. So I think two home wins and obviously whichever team gets the larger win will be going through. Waiting in the next round are Belle Vue, Somerset and Swindon.

This first leg will be tight, wouldn't bet against a draw but Wolves will run away with proceedings in the second leg.

I'll go with that, Have always thought our 1-5 is equal to most teams, and believe we could hold or just edge ahead at home. With Huckenbeck being our 'Ace in the pack' he has always covered the out of depth Bailey all season. But with him missing our reserves look ridiculously weak and I expect this is where we will come unstuck...

The introduction of Rambo was a breath of fresh air. and could have been the difference both in our home leg and also the return. Without a decent No 7 we stand no chance.....

Wolves by 12 and an angry bunch of Stars fans

Wilkinson is a well over the hill journeyman who will be a trier against Wolves. Yes, I know he had a famous victory over Tai W. but that only shows that if you gate and make no mistakes the victory is yours . And with Jake Knight in at 7 we have no likelihood of winning.. I won't bother going because we know only Lambert will stand a chance of catching most of the Wolves riders who gate ( as they usually do ).

I really don't see what others are.

I just don't see this being close at all.

We've not been great from the starts and if that is to continue, against this side we really will be shown up.

Lindgren, Masters, Thorssell, Schlein all great trappers and I fancy for double figures round the AFA.

No tactical rides just a straight 15 heats too so a bad start will highlight our problems much greater.

We will struggle to hit 40 points, I have no doubt about.

Looks like we may need another guest for Nick who has had a bad crash tonight and has a suspected broken leg :(

I'm a bit concerned about CHolder who didn't race in Sweden tonight too, after affects of his GP crash? he sure hit his head hard :( Edit: Seems he's ok ....

Can only be R/R unless if it's for your number 1
