Islander15
Buxton are missing 3 riders and it's 4 changes from the team that beat the Warriors. Back to a usual makeshift Buxton then, after facing a makeshift opposition for one week.
TurnTwo
Unless the Mildenhall outfit don't like the track I suspect a 42-

JamesM09
New v Ed now postponed so Clegg should now be back instead of Bickley . Glasgow V Workington also off so Williamson should be able to ride
Hunters
If at full strength then I fancy a Buxton win. Few teams will relish a trip there when they are not having to use guests.

Hunters
Matts resting from a crash the other night ,, Hopefully Cleggy can make it  That's unfortunate I think it means r/r not guest for Williamson as he is not 'riding up'.
Speedway28
Good win on the road but gutted to see Luke Ruddick get injured. He's been growing in confidence all year and really turned his form around so hopefully he's back soon although the early prognosis doesn't sound great. Best wishes to Jon Armstrong too. Â Lee Smart to replace Luke whilst he is out now Kingsley is at Buxton? Edited June 11, 2017 by Mildenhall1965
spiegal
News is that LUKE RUDDICK has NOT broken his wrist......fabulous for the boy who is showing teh form we knew he had in him.  he has burns on his hands and arm which will need some plastic surgery, but these shoudl heal better than a fracture  Some extra good news that following some phone calls on the way back from Buxton, that we will now have Jordan back for both Stoke and I.O.W.....many thanks to both Ross and Jordan for their concern for Luke.
pete cc
Glad to hear that Luke wasn't as badly hurt as it looked.. He was getting faster & faster( & not falling off as most Mildenhall fans had predicted.) Pity he then rammed Jon Armstrong.
Odds On
Dan Halsey seems to be having another useful season, surprised no one has taken a chance with him in the next league up?
Heathen1984
With how is average as dropped, dont seem to be that useful. Should be averaging more than what he is.
Sings4Speedway
With how is average as dropped, dont seem to be that useful. Should be averaging more than what he is. Â Thats alarming actually. A rider of his caibre dropping over 3 points off his average. That said im sure he will come good again but a bit of a worry.
TurnTwo
Halsey is a rider I feel never lived up to his full potential. I rated him highly in his youth he just never managed to quite make that last step. On his day he can beat anyone but also not on his day he can be beaten by reserves. Around Mildenhall when he doesn't have machinery problems (which I've seen him have his fair share) and the tendency to lose concentration and crash he should hold a 9/9.5 avg round Mildenhall. It's his away performances that let him down unfortunately.
mrss
Dan Halsey has had his best years. And they weren't great. He will never be any better he is only just above useless.
Islander15
With how is average as dropped, dont seem to be that useful. Should be averaging more than what he is. The thing is, Halsey's official average is based on 4 meetings and 2 were BV & Eastbourne away. Probably the hardest 2 meetings all season. His average will soon shoot yo as including National Trophy fixtures he has been having a good season around the 8 point mark.
Heathen1984
Dont matter who he as rode, still dropped is average, where as he should be better than what he is averaging. Nl is halseys level I think.
adz_mft
Dan's a rider who's popular amongst the whole set up at Mildenhall. Part of the furniture now. On his day is capable of beating anyone in the NL. I believe he has changed some equipment this season, wether that has had something to do with his indifferent start to the season,i don't know. All I do know is I have no doubt that his average will be on the rise soon enough. I think Dan's confidence took a huge knock years ago. He had just started riding PL for Rye and was averaging over 4.5,then just got dropped. Considering the progress he had made it must have come as a bit of a shock. He hasn't been the same since then. Although last year towards the end he was flying everywhere pretty much.
teaboy279
Although the meetings I ve seen him in won't affect his average, he looked the best I had seen him, especially some team riding he did to protect the lower order. If he has been team riding partners in leagues matches it's easy to drop points. I ve always seen Halsey as someone in a tight race he usually wins, but if he is miles clear he has a tendency to switch off and goes for a play on the bouncy castle.
