Moleman27
http://eastbourneeagles.co/news.php?extend.1086.1 Press release from Eastbourne explaining reasons why so many guests.
Guest GiveusaB
Thinking about it? Its a good move by both promoters bringing Cradley riders in, apart from their obvious talent/track knowledge? Birmingham might just benefit from a few extra feet through the turnstiles? (I'm sure Cradley fans would love to see 'us' get beat !) brianbuck
Isn't it astonishing that the BSPA now allow riders to opt out of riding in away matches as and when they please on the excuse of "work commitments" yet when a 16 year old lad is honest enough to admit that stepping up a league has been a bit too much too soon for him, he faces the prospect of a 28 day ban? Â Where is the common sense of it?

Sings4Speedway
I always find it surreal when a speedway rider books a holiday during the speedway season. Â I know some have limited choice & some have to try & keep their better halves happy during the season but it always seems an odd choice to me. If there was a fixture backlog its quite conceivable that a rider could miss 4 meetings with a weeks holiday during the season.
Brummiestormer
Fast losing interest in this sport in the UK suppose I'll my Mrs and me will be lost to speedway here especially if no buyer for Birmingham is found and tbh who wants to invest in such an amateurish sport!

Guest GiveusaB
Rain from 6pm ??? I'd seriously consider travelling up from Eastbourne ? You only have to 'wee' on our track and they call it off!

cityrebel
Lynn is off already tonight on a dry day. Travelling to any meeting these days is a gamble, whatever the weather!
Ghosty
So many guests. Is Luke Preist riding ? If the weather means the meeting is off, then it can only be a good thing for speedways credibility (that's if it still has any) & re-staged with full 1 to 7s. Why is this meeting still scheduled with less than half an Eastbourne team should have re-arranged anyway, perhaps the Drury knows the answer? ProudtobeaBrummie
I am about 800m from the track Sun is out bit windy perfect conditions at midday it has not rained since yesterday either ...
solrac
Weather forecasts still say rain from 6pm in Birmingham with no obvious let up. Shame as plenty from Eastbourne won't go now, as even if meeting starts, i'd be surprised if they get through it. Hope i'm wrong though.
