Josh Auty And The Not 28 Day Ban

Recommended Posts

once again, speedway proves its the circus of the sports industry.

Full of f**king clowns.

On another note, does that mean he just Auty-matically gets his place in the team back?

Another day sooner to when I just give up with speedway.

Isn't Mr. Godfrey a high heid yin at the discredited BSPA and on the MC?

I'm afraid iv'e reached that day after 56 years watching speedway, I don't want Auty back, the messing about whether the meeting is on or off, iv'e had enough of speedway.

I've followed your negative posts about Josh A, it's been clear you don't want him in any scunny team. Well I for one do want to see the lad and I'm sure his sponsors do too how ever big or small they are.

Josh has been a match winner and will do again, a match winner you have cheered on.

Sadly you won't be there to see it, maybe?

On David Howe's FB, he's also announced his retirement:

"Unfortunately due to a family BBQ I cannot race next sat and will retire , I hope to be racing the next day at Peterborough"

Are you sure you haven't read David Howe as Steve Boxall? ;)

But you must agree that he should serve his ban of 28 days.

So Auty retires, Scunthorpe get a facility for withholding services. Auty is allowed to return before the 28 day ban is up.

Do there you go folks, if a rider fancies a week off, just say he's retired.

Ban is 14 days. It has been since at least 2005, when Henka was banned for 14 days when he rode for Sweden (his hometown club were facing relegation) above an Oxford meeting. Was 14 days then, is still 14 days then.

All the best

Rob

I'm sure Auty's sponsors would have rather had him racing the past couple of weeks instead of throwing a hissy fit like a little girl (not for the first time) and pretending he was retired

why would you re employ a bloke that drops you in the sh!te then or his heart aint in it?? .... move on if thats the case, hes no world beater after all.

What a shame I am going away on my holidays on Sunday.

I could take a leaf out of Mr Godfrey's book at stage a sit in protest at the starting gate.

That what he does when he feels cheated, is it not.

its ok spinny, Nick Morris is lined up to replace you so they can win the league

Here we go another sham from the funny scunny rulebook.

The usual Scunny and Auty haters out in force again. No wonder riders get disgruntled, disinterested, disillusioned and despairing with constant deriding of them. Scunny fans happen to like Josh, he made a rash decision which he now regrets and will be back in the fold very soon. We are at the wrong end of the league, abiding by the rules, so what's the fuss? Just live with it, life is too short for trivial things in this of all weeks.

No problem with the lad coming back riding, whether that be with Scunthorpe or any other club, but the ban should stand end of.

He has been banned. But SCB made a mistake in the first post of this thread. A ban is for 14 days, not 28. It has been since at least 2005. It hasn't suddenly been invented.

It most certainly was NOT only 14 days in 2005, ask Kylmakorpi when he quit Peterborough when he wasn't getting paid that year. Or Zagar at Reading in 2096. Or Hans in 2009 (Also Peterborough). Or Matej Kus when he raced in the Czech Rep in 2011. Or Thomas Johnasson at Swindon in 2010. Or Jurica Pavlic at Swindon in 2009. Or Lebdevs at Lynn in 2013. KK at Brum in 2011. David Howe at Scunthorpe in 2012. Hampel at Ipswich in 2008.

Coventry were told in 2014 if MJJ didn't ride at BV, he'd get a 28 day ban.

I can keep going if you like?

It's madness to suggest that next week Auty could sign for Newcastle and ride do them while Scunthorpe in the same meeting have a facility for..... Scunthorpe! He'd be declared in two teams at once, yeah right! It's Scunthorpe pulling a fast one.
