Josh Auty And The Not 28 Day Ban

Recommended Posts

So Auty retires, Scunthorpe get a facility for withholding services. Auty is allowed to return before the 28 day ban is up.

ย

Do there you go folks, if a rider fancies a week off, just say he's retired.

Surely the Management Committee cant allow this? Utter pathetic.

ย

You could manipulate this so much with keeping riders averages down etc.

yeah and then teams can redeclare effectively 3 points over the limit 😜

Im sure it will all be glossed over as just persuading him to change his mind using the 'in the best interests of speedway' strapline

No problem with Auty returning to speedway, and no problem with him returning to Scunthorpe but under their own rules the BSPA must enforce the 28 day handed to Auty when he announced his break from racing. If the MC allow this then you can bet there will be others who will try the same trick with the BSPA powerless to do anything about it.

Are Sheffield not claiming a facility for Jack who has stepped down from their team. If he gets a ban will he be allowed to race for Birmingham in the conference league?

ย

In short and according to Birmingham, yes.

And why would other clubs let them? Cos they all in it together

They all know that one day they will need Mickey Mouse to come their aid too....😁

As Jacks average is 2.00 Sheffield will probably use no facility, which entitles them to use the same riders as if they had a facility. That allows Jack to continue riding for Birmingham.

At least you have to give Scunthorpe credit for one thing, they spotted this and got in first before Poole who to the best of my knowledge haven't tried this before.

Poole have been breaking rules like this since Matt Ford took over!
