Poole Pirates Vs Wolverhampton Wolves 7/6/17

Recommended Posts

How about you pointing out in inadequacies of Thorsell? A world beater at home and hides under a stone away from Monmore?

A far lesser rider than KK.

KK (as you keep pointing out) is a supposed world beater and former world number 2. More is expected which he often fails to deliver.

Thorssell is still progressing in the sport so I'm shocked you are even comparing the 2.

Thorssell still has to improve his away form, doubt you will find a Wolves fan that will disagree with that.

It's the truth. Wolves failed to take advantage even when it was on a plate for them tonight.

Edited for missing word.

Course not but 2 points a meeting is not good enough.

But there was no one else with as low an average. If we wanted Klindt at reserve Shanes was the best choice, and he hasn't let the club or himself down.

I would stick with Shanes simply because he will be needed for the future.

I think next year he will take a job with another team in lower leagues. He had speed tonight, just could not gate and also his fall he just got too much grip.

Holder was looking fast and at this rate Kurtz is a number 1 rider. If Fricke is number 1 in BV then Kurtz can do it here.

Kyle looked slow. Could get get a number 1 job at Birmingham for 2 weeks to replace JPB?? Just for the confidence??

Is that possible?? I doubt it but why not.

Who ever wants Bridger no thank you.... he has been banged up and is past it. Go and get a young rider who will give 110 percent.

Here is a question in 2 years who will be better Kurtz or Holder???

Holder adapts quicker but is he better.

SS.You said Freddie would of scored "a few more" than Josh.Do you not think with your number 1 that Freddie would have got 13??Don't want to here about Klint.

Well he hasn't managed it before at Poole so probably unlikely. Andersen and Kurtz would have probably seen him off. Lindgren is a good rider. Just not normally at Poole. Same as Chris Holder at Monmore.

We will have to agree to disagree on that one SS

I'l give Brady a year and he will be on the verge of the GP's..

Maksym Drabik would be a good option if he wants to come and ride in the UK. Bottom line is changes need to be made and quick, we were lucky tonight but we won't be next time.

I would agree with that mate. But we ground out a win, thats all that counts..

I had my doubts about Brady Kurtz after last season but wow has he proved me wrong, he gets better every time i see him, fast becoming the most vital part of this team. This could be a good team challenging for honours just one or two cogs need to start firing, no need to panic just yet. Newman needs time to improve and we need a number one which could still be KK if he came back from injury scoring well.

Biggest problem we have is at No 1.

I love Kyle and I want him to improve but it does get to a time

As a 25 year old he needs to bag in the points week after week.

With Kurtz, Holder and Shanes very much learning still but Newman has been at this level since 2011 and needs to repay Matt's faith in him this year.

Interesting to see Middlo stay and watch him train after the meeting was done tonight.

ALSO IF THERE ARE 3 Changes WHO ARE THESE RIDERS?

I said all winter Brady was worth sticking with but you (along with others) were adamant Gomolski was a better choice. I love being right, doesn't happen often! :D

A genuine number 1 in for zengy/Kk. Then bring Kk back on his low average once the new averages come out (and he is fit).

That match was what watching Speedway is all about. Both teams weakened through injuries, Some riders not performing as you expect, other riders performing brilliantly, never more than a few points in it, No double points on offer, and the result in doubt until the last race. It appears last night match had it all.... am so jealous......

Poole biggest issue was signing KK. If you haven't got that number one that you can rely on for double figures then you are always in trouble. Zengota isn't a number one been then again neither is KK. The form of Newman is a big concern.

What average would Drabik come in on?

Not sure but really do you think his Polish club will allow one of their prize assets to sign over here? Even if he wanted to come I am sure he would be blocked. More chance Predzpelski.

So 4 riders get new averages after tonight Kurtz to go to no1 well deserved imo.

Kurtz 9.23

Andersen 8.73

Holder 6.12

Shanes 2.37

With klindt 1 home meeting at home to get average

Not sure that's correct as either KK or Zengi will still retain their starting averages as Number 1 until they've completed 4H/4A.

Similarly with Kyle Newman retaining his 6.31 until he's done the required meetings (assuming he's not one of those to be replaced??!).

With the talk of replacements as part of a redeclaration, lets not forget that teams need to retain 2 riders that are/were NL riders and still keep the team under 42 points!!

Get him here like a shot or Kacper Woryna both dads rode for Poole.

I saw on Twitter than Klindt is riding in Poland on Sunday for Krakow.

Not sure that is accurate as Nicolai himself confirmed that after yesterday's scan on his knee he would be going back to Denmark to see a knee specialist as to whether an op is required?!
