Paulco
If Berwick use R/R as they did last night and keep the guests either where they did last night and use Proctor for Bridger I would expect Berwick to line up as follows. 1 Nick Morris 2 R/R for David Howe 3 James Sarjeant 4 Kevin Doolan 5 Ty Proctor 6 Jye Etheridge 7 David Wallinger Cheers
allthegearbutnaeidea
R/R can't be for Howe, it will be for Bridger? As Proctor is higher averaged than Bridger but not Howe.

allthegearbutnaeidea
You'll find no better rider than Lewis Bridger on a 6.05 I'll tell you that for nothing the lad has been flying round Shielfield the past two weeks with a Marcin Rempala and Lee Complin esque style about him, beautiful to watch and I hope his back is okay. I hope so too , his average is false due to his mechanical issues earlier in the season . Hope he's not out of action for long

screm
Must be Proctor for Howe then Proctor does indeed guest for Howe, R/R for Bridger, Berwick No8 if needed will be Kevin Whelan.

TheScotsman
Looks like it could have been mighty close at weegieville if Bridger had been there. And good to see one of our boys scoring well at reserve for the 2nd meeting in a row - take a bow Mr. Etheridge.
screm
Giving the circumstances its pleasing to see Berwick putting in a decent show, you would expect Bridger would've got more than the two points his R/R got. Good to see Etheridge in the points and finally we have a genuine No1.

If he had beat 4 Glasgow riders that would be an 8 point swing and Berwick nearly getting a point. Cannot complain about that.

He was thoroughly decent for a visiting No6 and light years ahead of the rider that turned up 12 months ago. Decent meeting overall, Morris got stuck in and the Bandits kept chipping away though were let down by Sarj with his usual gating technique and then the reruns. Bridger would definitely have made it closer.
TheScotsman
The problem last year was that Jye came in on a high average and couldn't drop below it and therefore couldn't drop into reserve which is what he desperately needed. There was always a decent rider there but we didn't have enough points in the team at the time to be able to carry him. At least by having his average reduced this season he has now being able to get a gig and is starting to show his ability. He has previously beaten many of the top boys in Aussie land. A reserve berth is obviously good for his confidence.
Gazc
Good to see Berwick putting in a good performance and whilst with Bridger in attendance it could have made it closer it would have made no real difference on the outcome for either team. Nick is still value round Ashfield and when Glasgow first brought him over in 2010 and loaned him to Buxton in that year he was then a very raw talent , it is very gratifying to see how far Nick has progressed. All in all another solid display from the team and well done to young Jack on his first paid win , it also shows how vital Nike is to the team his scoring from the No 4 position is vital he is another very young class act who is sometimes taken for granted with young Dan progressing the way he is. With a good run at reserve he can boost his confidence and bank balance to reinvest in better equipment.

Were the words not something along these lines " possibly the worst overseas rider to ride here " used to describe him. Glad he has rammed those words back down his throat,
