Andrew
Don't think the score will be as close this time ,so 54-36 to the Monarchs.
TheScotsman
Think we might sneak the win. Fed up with Ann Summers turning up as a guest every week though.

speedy bill
Good result for Tigers, could have won.Why did Branford not ride in heat 14 ,he should have had more rides replacing Sargent and Mc donald in other heats.Looks like he only had four rides, could have been given seven,Biot of a clanger there by Team Manager me thinks

Good meeting and all wrapped up in 90 minutes with no interval. Deserved point for the Tigers, with Howarth the star of the show (just) after holding off a big challenge from Masters in heat 15. Clegg impressive, important points from Branford.
DavyH
My biased ramblings from the Monarchs Chatzone - Right, been very lazy this season what with trips to France and too many beers I've not posted my manic thoughts very often. So here's my thoughts on tonight - It wasn't raining! We ended up with quite a few decent races, some strange refereeing decisions but then I saw who the ref was, a home win but a worthy point for the Tigers select. Yet again the Monarchs threw away a few points starting in heat 2 - you have four laps to overtake Mr Davey, calm doon!! Sam was beaten twice by a fast gating Howarth, Mark had a bad 4th ride but helped seal the win in heat 14, Erik had a good night until Bjerre changed line without any control 20 times in 20 metres, when a rider in second crashes because a rider in front loses control who is to blame? Last week Davey was excluded ( rightly so) for causing Hansen to run into him but tonight a different ref ignores the cause of the stoppage. Never noticed josh tonight but think it was a paid 7 for r/r, Ricky was better out the gate early on. Max had a busy night with some good passes and used the outside line, Mitch had a night to forget. For the Tigers select, Aaron on his normal track got his 2nd ride and the t/r right , Todd was poor but a good win in heat 8 where I thought he got away with a flier, Bjerre improved his scores but his heat 12 win was fortunate given his loss of control. Mr Sarjeant never broke the tapes but only beat one Monarch, Kyle Howarth was superb, top scorer on the night, he maybe gate and go but if you go like that so what? Rob picked up useful points but it was a bit too soon for Ryan at this level. Well run meeting apart from lap counting problem, got home in time for pie and a beer or three
scotchopper
A gorgeous night at armadale with Some pretty decent racing and plenty passing especially from max Clegg, who possibly passed a sheffield rider in 5 out of 7 races. A close ending made this a tense encounter but the bottom line is Monarchs gift wrapped a point for Sheffield and should have won much more easily. Mitchell threw away a point in heat 2 Mark got in front of sam for 2 laps in heat 6 which was a shame as I would have loved to see Sam chase down howarth Very poor heat 8 allowing Kurtz to win with his only points. In hindsight should have switched Clegg and Davey Mark then lost to sarjeant in ht10 another soft point, disappointing night for the elder riss. Then we imploded as Ricky couldn't prevent the 6 point tactical, Erik was forced into a mistake by the eratic riding of bjerre conceding a 5-1 and then Sam fell whilst in 2nd place and looking dangerous in ht13 Finally another poor result in a last heat decider as we failed to stop Sheffield getting a point. Excellent race and Sam must have been pretty close to taking the win on the line, many in the stadium thought he had. Fair play to Sheffield for digging in, making very few mistakes (if any) and grinding out a point but this should have been a big win for monarchs. Concerning that the big 2 aren't being dominant in ht 13 and 15, Sheffield gated on a 5-1 in both and although we did get past summers and looked like turning both around into a 4-2 we need to make better gates in these races. If all the missing riders were there this probably would have been tighter so can't complain about sheffield gaining a point but if monarchs want to win 2 leg matches at the business end of the season they need to get their finger out at home.
Moranboys
fantastic result at armadale.never expected that scoreline with all the changes to the team.a big thanks to aaron summers and james sergeant and ryan for stepping in.another superb score from kyle.some great points from lass.a surprising but very welcome 3 points from todd who doesn't,rate it amongst his favourite tracks and some good points from rob.given our usual previous thrashings at armadale who, at the start of the season, would have said that we would have run them as close as we have done.i would say probably not very many.a great point picked up on the road and hopefully the same again at brough park on another track where historically we usually don't fair very well.well done the tigers.
Mr Blobby
well we tried our best to chuck that meeting away with some strange refereeing decisions in the mix as well. Think Sheffield can find themselves rather fortunate to come away with a point. Davey falling in heat 2 while on a 4-2 ending in a 3-3. Kurtz with the flier of the season in heat 8 his only point of the night. The poor decision of heat 12 were the ref decided to exclude Riss who had to take avoiding action of the out of control Bjerre resulting in a 1-5 and Sam falling off in heat 13 while on a 3-3 resulting in 2-4. Besides that still a very enjoyable nights racing on another sunny night at Armadale.
