Shockster
Comfy home win for the Stars. Holder looked better last night for Lejonen and too many weak links for Swindon. Doyle & Morris can make it interesting though. Start delayed for Sun again??????
DunRobin
Comfy home win for the Stars. Holder looked better last night for Lejonen and too many weak links for Swindon. Doyle & Morris can make it interesting though. Start delayed for Sun again?????? Everybody seems to forget that the Robins are stronger away from the Abbey at the moment! I find our away fixtures too difficult to call at present, can be 10 down going into heat 13 & still come away with a point.

pubichair
Robert lambert should be doing better then he is imo yes he's only 19-20 but he's rode Lynn too long to not even win a race

Just a little moan lol Morris is on fire so far this year. Him and Doyle even silenced fast Freddie last week!! Go easy on him. He is doing a great job.

Bald Bloke
Solid scoring from the Stars.Porsing apart. I suppose Lynn could have a few more heat wins at home, but only ran 3 lasts. Could of been very tight had Doyle not fell whilst on a 1-5 in heat 13.The score going into HT 15 would of had Lynn 7 up and my money would of been on a Doyle and Morris 1-5 in 15.Point for the Robins Oh,and i would of won my Doyle over 11 bet Edited May 31, 2017 by Bald Bloke

orion
Swindon were a little bit unlucky with Doyle falling but the question must be asked about the dropping of Grondal again ...how many points has this cost us now ?

Trees
There was a room full at the P/C after the meeting last night to hear Simon and Dale 😊 A pretty strong win for our Stars even with Doyley's fall. So we're up to 2nd in the table, gotta be happy with that
BuzzCagney
I wonder if Rosco is still tired of hearing the team he has put together isn't strong enough? I suggests he starts listening.
semion
With Doyle and Morris bang in form Swindon are always going to be entertaining on the Road, but it's a mighty long tail they drag behind them. Doyle was different class and would have had 18 points, just one silly mistake when we'll clear. The way he went through Batch and just swatted him out of the way was impressive. Lambert kept him honest in one race. For Lynn Huckenbeck again looked top drawer, can only assume something gave on his bike in his final outing. Glad Porsing came back with a win in his last, after looking way down on power in his opening 2 rides. Holder looked strong in his opening 3 but sad to see so badly tailed off in 13
mrss
Happy with the win last night. Not the best racing again but good to see Simon Lambert get amongst the points. If they can get Porsing going Stars will be a force to be reckoned with.
g13webb
Yet another funny meeting...... I always thought we would be too strong for Swindon, but they sure put up a good fight. To be honest I expected more race winners, but I put that down to the track. Whereas last week when all races where entertaining and competitive, tonight most races were over by the back straight. Holder and Lambert really pressed hard when chasing Doyle and Morris but got little or no reward for their troubles... A good gate was everything..... Most races were processional and drawn out. Shame really as there were a big crowd with the Car Parks full. I think Swindon were unlucky in that they came on a night when our new reserve was the most decisive factor on show. Take his points away and we could have lost. Holder battled well before being taken out in ht 13, Batch gated most races but lacked speed down that back straight. 3 times he was out paced. Can't remember the last meeting I went to and ® Lambert didn't win a race. Can't knock his effort, but he should be winning some of those races.... Rose and Huck were solid and reliable, while Porsing flatters to deceive. He ran 2 of Lynn's 3 last places. Then after being dropped from his 3rd ride he came out won heat 12 against an impressive Ellis, in a time as quick as Doyle or Morris... I don't doubt Porsing is capable, but there always seems a reason for doing bad scores.... With Simon, we now have a solid team that can only get better. For the first time this year I now believe we are good enough to make them Play-offs
keef robin
And Swindon wont make the play-offs with this team, can't ask anymore from the two Aussie Turbo Twins, brilliant, in top 3 in Britain, but David B who was superb is dropping alarmingly. Adam is improving but BWD and the reserves are a concern. First time they haven't taken a point on road. On current form will go for Lynn, Wolves, Poole, Belle Vue as top 4. Next meeting in two weeks. Edited June 1, 2017 by beefy keefy
