Tonga
I assume you are a Newcastle fan the way he messed up heats 8 and 9 with the reserves Definitely not,,,,, wanna try taking the lads place???? And I wouldn't put one foot in the place after watching riders in the air sideways after the start line years ago whilst spannering for Mirko Walter,, plus Louis Carrs accident against a concrete post that should have been covered,, plus the Newcastle management ignoring me as a rider sponsor a couple of years ago. Well done Scorps and Dave!!!!
Terrace Grumbler
Scunthorpe fans must be wondering what would've happened had Ryan Douglas fired. Newcastle supporters are wondering what might have happened if Worrall or Rose had fired...
diamond@heart
What was Aarnio's issue in Heat 4. Handbags and all that. Newcastle supporters are wondering what might have happened if Worrall or Rose had fired...Agree, neither Worrall, Rose or Lindgren at there best tonight. Couldn't seem to get out the starts. Track doesn't seem great when we've had really hot weather. Lambert breaking his neck in Heat 15 to catch Kerr.
DiamondGlory
Connor Coles got the second loudest cheer from the Diamonds fans this season. He didn't win a race, he just shoved Tero Aarnio. Serves him right. Kicking off at a rider for falling off into your path is like complaining at McDonalds cause a Big Mac isn't healthy. 46-44 is good enough for me. Another 3 points. Dandelion
How do our riders consistently mess up gates as much as they do? It gets a little frustrating sometimes, the only gate Rose made, it got pulled back Anyway, we got a win, so I'm very happy with the result, well done to Connor for sticking up for himself, think Aarnio over reacted a bit, but that goes to show how dangerous having riders with a lack of ability and experience in the league... They fall off in front of other riders and they have the choice..... Run the fallen rider over and ride into the fence... It's not Connor's fault he's been thrown in at the deep end, it's the damn rules... What the hell was that one fan in the middle of the stadium getting his knickers in a twist about? Well done Ben Hopwood, I would just like to say, thought he had another solid performance and he's doing good at reserve, but it should be as a junior reserve... Any idea when he's getting his kevlars?

Dandelion
Just got home!! Delays all over the A1 heading south, don't know what's happened but it seemed to clear up in seconds... Same meeting Worrall was home number 1 and got 6 I think, Lambert was away number 3/4 and got another 15 max

thebaron
Ryan never seems to go well at Newcastle. But a sterling show from the Scorpions to take a point. Some pride and faith restored I think. I am assured that everyone is working very hard behind the scenes to keep the club moving foward despite the set backs.

Any idea when he's getting his kevlars? maybe he isn't getting any, or is waiting to fill some-ones who's leaving,,, but not his boots made heavy weather of the match, but well done Scunny and especially Lewi Kerr. 3/4 of the top 5 not on their game, with the ref pulling starts back on a whim, probly 50/50,,, but did hear it was his last match, and maybe didn't want to go quietly. Dandelion
maybe he isn't getting any, or is waiting to fill some-ones who's leaving,,, but not his boots Don't think he'd fit into any one else's kevlars Haha, Or maybe he isn't getting any, because he's only temporary himself? (Hope not, he's impressed me)
ruffdiamond
Interesting end to heat 4. Not very "heroic". hero to zero IMO
Dandelion
hero to zero IMO He did over react a bit, but you can understand it kinda, think of how much adrenaline he had in his body as he was flying towards the fence... Don't think he has anything personal against Connor and the amount Tero did for us last year, he's still a hero in my eyes (Maybe I'm being a little Finn bias though Haha)

diamond@heart
I think he over reacted massively. Connor won't the last ride to fall in front of another under pressure and many a top rider has done it. It was good to see Connor stand up for himself and I think the lad has alot of potential, he just needs a bit more self belief in his abilities and when he is in a points scoring position to just calm down and ride within himself.
Terrace Grumbler
I don't know what the rulebook has to say. In football it may have been red cards (raising a hand against an opponent) but the ref let it all go. From my spot on the terrace I thought Ronnie Allan had a pretty average night. The guy who berated him was bang out of order but I m afraid to admit that it made me chuckle.

Yes, it's no excuse, but you can see it from both sides of the situation I think he over reacted massively. Think no matter what the situation, if a rider lashes out at another rider, before, during or after a race, they should be immediately excluded from the race, re run or not... Should have been a 3-2 with Steve in 1st and JPB in 2nd... (Think they were the two riders, can't be arsed to go look)
