Good crowd today, more Sunday meetings on the way I hope!

That's encouraging. How many do you think were in attendance? More importantly - there are potentially further Sunday dates that could be available? The stock car promotion - who own the venue - have a priority remember? Here's a Link to several sets of forthcoming fixtures at the venue:

Almost impossible to accruetly asses the numbers as the crowd is so spread out around the whole track plus people up in the large bar area but considerable more than the last meeting.......Cook not to bothered about those having a moan about Hurrys arrival.....

That is putting it mildly! He was none too complimentary regarding some NL bosses.

Cook said he was still looking to strengthen the team initially in the number 2 position.....

Most national league clubs would be more than happy with Lakesides crowd, which is spread round the whole circuit The knockers on here seem to be mostly those who do not attend....

So Cook got his own way, yet calls other promoters 'idiots'. Right...

Not quite. Hurry had an average 'allocated' prior to the season start but this has now been 'reviewed' following complaints, presumably from the 'idiots'.

I don't like to think that our promoter considers all the other promoters to be "idiots" just because they objected to Paul's new average. If you look

at it from their point of view, whatever method was used for the calculation, it was clearly inadequate as his early scores already demonstrate that

he is a class act worth 10 point minimum in any meeting. Great for us if all we want is to beat all the opposition in to the ground. The league race will

now be to see which "idiot" comes second !
