The meeting starts at 5pm, oh no wait, the Showground wasn't available until later... Meeting starts at 7pm, unless Bomber is late. Meeting starts at 8pm, miraculously allowing Bomber to take his place in heat 1 following a tractor breaking down on track or something equally ridiculous.

The meeting has to start at 7pm. Hopefully the ref is on the ball enough to keep tabs on it. I have my doubts though.

Bank Holiday, Chris Harris, first meeting after the Newcastle stormer etc - never heard of a delayed start allowing people to get in. Happens all the time everywhere and the ref can only really go with it if it happens.

Harris last programmed ride ht12 hope hes not required after that

Leicester 31 Rye House 29 after 10 heats, so he may well be needed - and would need permission to leave the meeting early anyway.

Barring an absolute disaster in the last five heats or on the 40 mile journey there's no problem here. Worse case is a Panthers reserve in Heat 1, Chris not out again until Heat 6.

Weather looking OK too

Tell you what; maybe Ged can leave Holder & Starke out, tell Bomber not to bother travelling over from Leicester, then replace them with a combo of R/R + NL guests.... then you can watch a 15-75 bore-fest and todde off back to Cumbria with your poxy 4 points.

Or do we all want to watch the ding-dong meeting it promises to be?

It's probably already said already but this definitely looks like a tough fixture for the Panthers. If they get a win at home I'll be impressed. Cook is unstoppable this season, as always, and the rest of the team do decent at the showground. Hopefully it'll be a great day of racing like our meeting was.
