Django
Lake Windermere and bassenthwaite lake? Looks like 2 One more question. How does Sarjeant get warned twice? The second time should have been an exclusion surely Windermere is actually a 'Mere' similar to Buttermere, Thirlmere and Grasmere. People sometimes refer to it as Lake Windermere to differentiate it from the town of Windermere. Enough partying for me on a Saturday night! Cracking win for the Comets, best wishes to Rob.

Baldyman
Says on Wikipedia that windermere is a large lake. That's good enough for me. From Wikipedia Windermere is a large lake in Cumbrias Lake District National Park, northwest England. Its surrounded by mountain peaks and villages, including Bowness-on-Windermere, where The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction has modern displays on the childrens writer. In the north, trails lead to Orrest Head, a hill with views across the lake and the fells beyond, and Holehird Gardens, with their alpines, heathers and shrubs. That's all I'm saying👍 Edited May 27, 2017 by baldyman
Taylorj
Nice One boys ..thought they were coming for 4points and take away nil points , even after they got the track the way they wanted it . Unfortunately Rob Shuttleworth hit an out of control Greaves , King & Schlein kept the witches in it , would have been a bigger margin had it not been for chains snapping for Ty and Thomas. Well Done Boys , another 3 points in the bag

Halifaxtiger
I'm not biased but the track is awful. They got a bloke withdrawn now because he couldn't turn I didn't think the track was awful. Deep and grippy, yes. Clearly some (and I mean some) of the riders didn't like it, but it was not to blame for the crash involving Shuttleworth & Greaves. Greaves locked up in the corner and Shuttleworth hit him. Would have happened anywhere. Still enjoyed the meeting. Couple of cracking races between Schlein & Cook, heat 6 in particular proving that passing isn't a necessity to see a brilliant race as Cook was all over Schlein's back wheel for 3 laps. I think the Comets are a lot better than some make out and will be there or there abouts at the end. They need to sort Sarjeant out, though,. Not only is his moving at the gate annoying, he simply isn't cutting it.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Well done to Worky. Agree with the Comments above re your chances. Hands up I didnt rate you too highly before the season started but where I put a question mark against some of the team they have stepped up. (Yes even Campton Jenga 😛) Williamson in paticular has had some very impressive scores - home and away - compared to what was expected.
Arch Stanton
They're doing better than I expected too but they still won't make the play offs IMO.

It's going to be a tough battle right to the wire for the play off places , if the rumours are to be believed about Peterborough putting together a galactico side , only really Scunthorpe and Berwick are out of the play off picture .
scaramanga
You're ticking along very nicely under the radar , definite serious play off candidates . why did you have to say that and put the kiss of death on the comets this league is very competative with many teams that either look good or have the potential to do good if certain riders click whoever is in the play offs there gonna have to earn it or have a serious run of good luck along the way Well done to Worky. (Yes even Campton Jenga ) Williamson in paticular has had some very impressive scores - home and away - compared to what was expected. i think all comets fans new matt had it but hes clicked a bit better than expected as for mason we saw last year he was better than his scores /performances sugested this year he has upped his game maybe its the fact that hes had a run rather than just a season on season away but he still needs to work at it but certainly round derwent park he can and does beat much better rated riders all the workington team look good on there day even rob shuttleworth isnt off the pace and for his relativly short time in speedway hes doing ok in my book not many others out there that id replace him with just hope hes not too bad after his tangle last night with the out of controll nathan greaves Lake Windermere and bassenthwaite lake? Looks like 2 One more question. How does Sarjeant get warned twice? The second time should have been an exclusion surely only the ref can tell you that nobody will argue but as in the past when refs make mistakes the say once they give a call they cant change it sargent was lucky to only get 2 warnings he only made 1 clean start all night and that was a rerun

TheScotsman
I still like Sedgy - dunno what you've done to him. He was fine at Armadiddle at the start of the season when he won the Scottish Open.
topaz325
What's the rumours Holder and Nichols to sign as well, might as well make it one big league or North and South the way things are going. Any way back to last night some good racing even heat one was very good with King on a mission and looking very fast. The track was a bit smoother after the blading and was much more to the witches liking but even then they could not contain the Comets. Despite a TR outing which ended 4-4 (horrible rule)the Worky side just had too much for Ipswich. Get well Rsoon Rob.
Arch Stanton
Well he needs to buck his ideas up sharpish if he wants to carry on at Ipswich. Louis won't put up with a lack of effort for long if that is indeed the case. People actually thought we looked stronger for the change but that's certainly not looking the case at the moment. I'm reluctant to say it's failed because things can turn around pretty quickly and you can end up looking daft. Newman is another who needs to buck his ideas up. Yes, he had the injury at the start of the season but that can't continue to be used as an excuse forever. He should be doing much better. It's frustrating again because on paper (I'm getting sick of saying that) the team looks very strong and the middle order of Sedgman and Newman looks one of the best in the league, but not for the first time in recent years we have certain members of the team badly underperforming. We need to be careful because there's some good sides around and Peterborough are strengthening so unless we pull our finger out we could easily miss out on the top 4. One big league? Where are the riders going to come from, I think I'm right in saying that 6 of our 7 riders ride in both leagues. Once the Sky deal ends we'll still have 2 leagues, but they'll just be earning the same money riding in the 1st or 2nd division.

Who's going to tell Edinburgh or Somerset they cant ride on a Friday, Edinburgh would never budge!!
