DutchGrasstrack
De Jong posted a statement today. He had a very small amount of amphetamine in his body, but he does not know how this happened. They are now waiting for more test results. DutchGrasstrack
Today we are in France for the second Longtrack Final in La Reole. Very hot temperatures (over 35+ degrees), so not easy for the riders. Practice went well, no crashes. Don't forget to follow the live results: https://www.longtrack-live.com/event/221/fim-long-track-world-championship-final-2-la-reole.html Wildcard news for the third round in Muhldorf: Martin Smolinski. Jorg Tebbe and Markus Eibl will be reserve. Jannick de Jong still included in the lineup, so I guess Tebbe will move up.

racers and royals
Why should Tebbe move up into the min field if Jannick de Jong is still included? Because de jong is banned for a failed drugs test.

Why should Tebbe move up into the min field if Jannick de Jong is still included? Because de jong is banned for a failed drugs test. I FULLLY UNDERSTAND ABOUT DE JONG'S FAILED DRUGS TEST. But in the first quote the Poster makes it clear - as I read it - that de Jong is STILL INCLUDED! That's why I asked how Tebbe could move into the line-up. Because the FIM simply did not alter the line-up. If you knew he was banned !!!! someone would have too take his place and that`s why DGT said that Tebbe would move into the meeting proper !!!!! I said he had failed a drugs test - I have not seen any Post on the BSF that he was banned. Hence the reason I sought clarification of the Post from DutchGrasstrack. Take a look at what he actually says in his Post!!! I do also understand the mechanics (so to speak) of speedway legislation. I have been following the sport for a few years!!! That fact, however, still does not support my contention that the Post by Dutch Grasstrack did not clarify the suspension which indicated a confused statement that de Jong was included in the line-up then caused confusion by saying without giving any CLARIFIED reason that Tebbe was moving into the meeting line-up. His quote reads "...Jannick de Jong still included in the lineup, so I guess Tebbe will move up..." Edited June 17, 2017 by Guest

That`s because DGT and the rest of us- bar you, know that when it was announced he had failed the doping test - that he was banned and was helping by informing us that Tebbe was 1st reserve and would replace him. you are making a mountain out of a molehill. That is my final comment !!!!!!
iris123
If i can help clear this up.The way i understand Jespers post is that the FIM were still including de Jong in the line-up although he was banned. So jesper using his noddle was guessing Tebbe would be riding instead and the FIM hadn't got their arris in gear. That is how i see the picture using a few brain cells.Jesper having previously posted on here that de Jong had failed a test and was banned helped.Someone who doesn't spend half his life on the internet might not have known that, but someone who spends half his life on the internet and still can't work it out is quite clearly.......gustix.I was going to put something else there, but it would only confuse the old boy

That is my final comment !!!!!! Never rely on the 'assumptive mind'. The Post did not SPECIFY that there was an actual change to the line-up with Tebbe replacing de Jong. It said clearly that he WAS in the meeting line-up, then caused confusion by saying Tebbe would be riding. DGT should have made a clear indication of what was taking place for the benefit of any first time reader of the thread.

DutchGrasstrack
Harris looked quite desperate. Suffered mechanical failures in two of his heats, also in practice. He is missing serious focus due to his speedway commitments I think. All, sadly, a very long time ago. Edited June 19, 2017 by Guest
